The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s (NCMEC) Hope Gala held on Sept. 14, 2023, at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. The children - victims of adult vices is a group of sculptures created by Russian artist, Mikhail Shemyakin, located in a park in Bolotnaya Square, Moscow, 2000 feet south of the Kremlin behind the British Ambassador's residence. Shemyakin said that, "[The sculpture] ... was conceived and carried out by me as a symbol and a call to fight for the salvation of today and future generations."
Darksiders II follows the exploits of Death, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, in a weaving tale that runs parallel to the events in the original Darksiders game. This epic journey propels Death through various light and dark realms as he tries to redeem his brother War, the horseman who was blamed for prematurely starting the Apocalypse in Darksiders.

Around five thousand vegans march through Central London, from Hyde Park to Parliament Square, in a protest organised by Surge, The Save Movement and HeartCure Collective calling for an end to animal exploitation and to promote veganism as a healthy, compassionate way of living.
From this photographers point of view the event was a pleasure to shoot, with a friendly and very noisy crowd carrying mostly self-made banners and wearing some great - and sometimes truly hideous - costumes.

The tarts fresh out of the oven. Hurrah!
They look quite happy sitting there, don't they? However, while shaping the pastry to the cups, I began panicking about the pastry cups (and thus the tarts) being too small. Fortunately, the tarts came out a good size.
