“Otherness In Nature" is a sensory experience that is at once beautiful, surreal, and experimental.

 

Using Polaroid film in a unique way, experimental techniques with chemical manipulation and time-lapse video, I have created a body of work that takes the viewer through the chance consciousness in the chaos of "Otherness In Nature".

 

With this project, I hope to bring life to a viewing experience that provides the individual with a front-row seat to the nature of chaos in the natural world. A perspective of time in a manner in which one can pause and be immersed in an experience that is not constrained by

 

This project was created capturing Polaroid images of flora, pulling apart said images, and applying multiple combinations of chemicals. In collaboration with @example_6 / @ten30six who created a software program that would allow the capture of the process in real-time chemical manipulation and for editing the project together.
