The interior of BR experimental AM1 25KV A/C EMU, possibly M28221M, at Morecambe Promenade station in around 1963, with the route map above the doorway..

The original back-to back seating in this converted ex-LNWR Siemens DC unit has been replaced by bus-style seats all facing the same way, and the moquette on the seat cushions does not match the seat backs..

The experimental A/C service ended in 1966, and all these units were scrapped..

Restored from an under-exposed misaligned original..

This series has been taken with a technique I call Laser Scan. A line laser (in this case a RGB laser that creates white-ish light) is mounted on a motored rotation platform. In a dark room with black background the model is "scanned" by the laser while a camera is taking the picture in bulb mode.

I've been feeling the urge for color lately. I think it's because winters in Ohio are so grey and drab.
