Movement and reflection with a mirror...

Texturing with the sky and birds,

Thanks for the visit for You All a nice weekend.

(NOTE: All textures were produced in the shot, not photoshop. This piece is very "photoshop-lite" as I only healed a tiny spot near the nose, and adjusted the curves. Everything you see is pretty much on the original file.)

I'm still working out the kinks with this technique and while I like that it's mood is softer than the first shot in the series (the one of my son's face) I am not keen on how the camera autofocused on the glass. That little issue will be fixed next week when I get something less digitally crappy to shoot with (Santa, baby).

I will post another one from this series soon in which there are fewer scratched out parts on the glass. While I think there's something nice about the larger scratched out bits there is still also something about them which bothers me. I am hoping its the focus issue. If not then I'll have to think on it some more. What do you guys think?

Aerial view of pagodas, bunkers and buildings on Orford Ness on the coast of Suffolk

Hello John, I'm carrying out some research on Orford Ness as an intern at the University of Exeter, and came across two brilliant aerial images of yours on Flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/john_fielding/54445823760/in/photos... and www.flickr.com/photos/john_fielding/54443303864/in/photos...). I'm helping create an ArcGIS Storymap as an open resource for heritage practitioners/academics that would be publicly available, and therefore wondered whether we could include these two images of yours in our storymap if we gave you full credit in the image information? This research is purely for academic purposes and not for profit. Many thanks,

Taken from my Shrewsbury-bound train, the exprimental blue liveried Brush Type 4 , D1733 is stopped at Wellington Station. The red-backed BR double line logo would have made a welcome contrast to the ((in my eyes) drab blue., but was short-lived. The original 2-tone green lof the "47,s " was one of the more satisfying liveries of the diesels being built in 1964 , along with the "Deltics" and to see these machines in virtually all-over blue didnt impress. The front view of D1733 has already appeared on my site. 22nd.June 1964.

The city is meltin under the heat wave.

People get mad.

The vision is blurred.

And from the structure remains nothing...

La ville fond sous la vague de chaleur.

Les gens deviennent fous.

La vision devien floue.

Et de la structure rien ne demeure...

A bit of experimental post-processing on images of the Life Sciences building at the University of Bristol.

I have been having new inspiration to try out new portrait work recently. Though my shooting style mainly revolve around landscape, travel and lifestyle but I am keen on trying something new this year…

Thanks to Huey Yee and Woody for inviting me over for a casual portrait session yesterday. Had loads of fun specially on the ending part though I had an uninspired cold start earlier on.

SOOC - an experiment in suggestivve motion and texturizing landscape in the camera. Ok, so maybe it doesn't work...

I took this picture in Yomiuri Land.

This camera "boke" was not very beautiful.

So,it is an experimental photo, I posted to confirm the assessment.

Do you always throw your test stripes?

I used to , in the beginning , until i started to fall for how surprisingly marvelous they`d look because of different affecting factors.

So i decided to collect my test stripes from some of my silver gelatin and liquid emulsion prints. The pictures you are seeing are a product of under(over)developing, under(over)exposing, maltreating, light and erosion caused by time passing.

The wonderful thing is that they`ll continue to change after the time they were taken:)

I decided to name this project : ALCHEMY OF DESERTION.

Prononciation of alchemy of desertion would normally awaken gloomy feelings...

But I think it`s amazing to see how things continuously morph into something new.

It`s like a synonym of infinity and everything/everyone , can/should discover this on their selves ...
