"Every sunrise gives you a new beginning and a new ending. Let this morning be a new beginning to a better relationship and a new ending to the bad memories. Its an opportunity to enjoy life, breathe freely, think and love. Be grateful for this beautiful day." -

Norton Juster

Every time I go to this beach, I look at the island over there.

Every year as we move into spring, wigeon often graze one of the banks next to one of the hides at Summer Leys. No change this year with a small flock providing some really good photo opportunities

Every cleaning day is the same thing, Carlota gets stuck in the middle of everything...

Every time he croaked, the water would spray out from under him

Every body is a dreamer, and each has unique dream. we might also have a crazy that no one also knows..................

I'm not sure if they're having a good conversation or about to start making out. Probably both.

Bald eagle... but you already knew that :-)

Every year, Dozer and I enthusiastically take the initiative to keep our walking trail in great shape, and it's terrific to see that our efforts benefit so many! Countless animals depend on this path, and it warms my heart to know they can navigate without struggling through deep snow. This shared outdoor space is truly precious, especially with the increased coyote activity around. By maintaining this trail, we're not only enhancing our own winter adventures but also making life easier for the local wildlife. Let's unite in creating a winter wonderland that supports both humans and animals alike—after all, no one enjoys the hassle of stepping off the trail and sinking into that deep snow!

Every night, when I get up to get a glass of water, I find the Janitor quietly mopping all the floors and cleaning all the sidewalks in Lynn's LEGO City. I'm thinking of buying more of this minifig and placing them all around the house. Then maybe all my floors will be clean in the morning? :-)

Police presence on a festival morning in Cusco, Peru

Every year, huge murmurations of birds gather around the countryside. I've been trying all week to get a good picture of them, but they seem to stay secluded in the centre of an unreachable tree cluster. So amazing to watch them all move together, breaking off to do their own thing while others join in the flock.

Every room and wall at the huge abandoned Larundel Psychiatric institution was covered in Graffiti - it is like walking through a never ending , and rather disturbing, Art gallery. This one, however, I really loved and found very comforting to come across. as I prowled around the dark corridors in semi dark, and all alone!

Every year in mid-June, the festival of street artists held in Antibes. Always it is going to a lot of viewers, because the entrance is free. Every time talented artists surprise his artistry and originality. All scenes with humor, which involved not only the actors but also the audience.

just happened to be heading to a late evening meal this one night on our vacation.

It seems far away only because this was taken at dusk.

Every week my next door neighbor and I are going for a walk, very early in the morning at sunrise. Yesterday we went to an area next to Holland's biggest national park (de Hoge Veluwe) which is called "Planken Wambuis".

It turned out to be a glorious day with a magnificent sunrise and dancing wisps of fog. As always I took my camera (which I rarely take out of my backpack on those walks because we seldom see animals - which cóuld have something to do with the fact that we talk.... a lot).

But yesterday was different. It began with a giant Wild Boar scaring the living daylights out of us by crashing out of the shrubs just in front of us and made my city-girl neighbor almost run for the car :-).

But what followed was one of the most beautiful sunrises I ever saw. And when a mother Sayaguesa cow and her calf crossed the path in front of us that camera finally did come out of the backpack....

(Sayaguesa cattle is a rare breed of cattle, only 600 left of them, imported from Spain to graze the vast heather areas of 'Planken Wambuis'. They roam freely and keep the heather from getting overgrown)

By the way, here you can see what the view was on the other side of this scene..

This was shot on December 20, the night before winter solstice.

I waited till the last light barely sweeped the horizon and highlighted the details on the waves and pebbles at Larkollen Bay, southern Norway.

My mission was to use the light in a specific way that only the objects just above water surface was lighted, while the body of water itself was cast in shadows.

A tribute to winter solstice you might say ;-)

The winter solstice (vintersolverv) occurs at the instant when the Sun's position in the sky is at it`s greatest angular distance on the other side of the equatorial plane from the observer's hemisphere. This means that from now, the days will be gradually have longer periods of daylight.

Worldwide, interpretation of the event has varied from culture to culture, but most cultures have held a recognition of rebirth, involving holidays, festivals, gatherings, rituals or other celebrations around that time.

The word solstice derives from Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still).

I wish peace and happiness to every living being.

Every year in Monza there is a fireworks exhibition for the Saint John's day, Italy

Every year for our birthdays, a very old friend and I exchange gift cards. Normally she buys clothing; I tend to veer towards unusual artsy items or more practical houseware gimmicks! Sometimes, when I can't decide, I'll just take a photo of something that catches my eye but is too large or heavy to purchase!

This was the case! I was fascinated by the wall piece, and couldn't really get a photo of it with all the glare, so I just had FUN creating a greeting card for her! I ended up purchasing a baby gift for a dear young couple who just had their first child!

I don't remember much, but I DO remember Halloween 2022 being an especially moody one - very appropriate for the holiday and GREAT for some last minute photography. I had raced home from work hoping to find something in the 90 minutes of usable light I had, thankfully quite a few opportunities presented themselves. IHB Job 118 is pointing toward the Gary & Western to put their hefty train of industry traffic away for the evening. The local East Chicago youth have yet to costume up and knock on many a stranger's door, though it would end up being quite the soggy event for them...

"Every cloud has a silver lining." Unknown.

When I shared my photograph "Peace under the Moon", I described the interesting story of this abandoned church in the heart of County Donegal. On that occasion, I also mentioned that I had visited the church in the morning to find compositions for my evening session. This is how I captured this photograph, which although at first I thought it would serve only as a reference for a future image with better lighting conditions, in the end I decided to edit it with the same style that I have used in other of my daytime photographs with cloudy skies in Ireland.

However, this time the scene is not as dark as on other occasions, since the sun filtered for a few moments through the clouds to lightly illuminate the church with its precious light, which I imagined silver this time. Regardless of the weather, there is always a silver lining for hope and for creating interesting photographs.
