Every day I leave my praxis at lunchtime, grab my camera and walk through the city of Bochum, Germany just for one hour.
Trying to get a good shot, which is not so simple, because it is NOT a nice city !!!

Yesterday may have been Worldwide Pinhole Day, but it's best to keep your pinhole close at all times. You never know when you might want it.

It's ten days until Norway's national day (this photo is from that day last year), and there are confirmations every weekend, like I'm on my way home from now - after photographing and singing, wearing my national costume bunad.
The weather is beautiful too these days, and the the trees and flowers are blooming everywhere. A lovely month! Look forward to show you photos of the lovely young man I photographed today.

Every time I've tried to take a nice shot from this place weather/fog always ruins it so I decided to post this image and give up from this place.
Somewhere near Ponta de São Lourenço.
Clearly not an astrophotographer but it was dark so I tried. Also, I did not see the moon in Portugal. Like, at all. Weird.
Every now and then Sachi comes into my room and tap, tap, tap! my head with his paw when I stay in bed. What a nice morning to start... *rubbing my eyes*
Have to hussle to catch up. New Daylily are opening up every day, though we don't have too many yet that haven't bloomed.
Cannot pass up the bitones. Here's another with nice contrasting bar on the dark petals.

Every trip to Iceland includes a photo of Kirkjufellsfoss with the Kirkjufell in the background, regardless of the weather. You only have a chance to experience this place deserted very early in the morning, before sunrise.

Every year around early June fisherman hang their nets at these poles. It always adds something to the shot. Too bad the poles are empty. But it is still one of my favorite beaches to visit during sunset.

The weather forecast for the last few days has been suggesting wall to wall sunshine for today, but I woke up to grey skies which persisted until 2pm or more. Godalming has nice old bare trees so I thought they may make a good subject for today.
However, this shot was taken in the opposite direction where the sun appeared through nature's veil.
Not everyone will know of Beth Nielsen Chapman, but I was fortunate enough to see her in Birmingham in 2014. This is probably my favourite song of hers and I have been on the lookout for an image to go with this song for many years.

Every year in Isola Dovarese (Italy) there is a medieval reinactment. Townspeople wear authentic clothes and with the city enlightened with candles create special medieval atmosphere. Different locations offer medieval style food and drinks.

Every river I have worked on seems to have a "Narrows" somewhere in the system. This one is along Wills Creek a major tributary to the Potomac River joining the North Branch of the Potomac not far from here in Cumberland, MD. An eastbound manifest freight behind GP38 3826, another hood and an F7A ease into the super elevated track just outside the town limits of Cumberland.

Every year I look forward to seeing families of white tailed deer wintering in our rural neighborhood. This one (with mamma near by) is happy to eat the pumpkin and apple that I add to the edge of our clearing. I've never seen one with appaloosa like coloring.
Roxanne, I hope this satisfies our "fill the frame theme" for this week! I cropped down as much as I could without chopping her legs off! My little bird feeder is in the way...I've given up on perfection, takes too much time! Must be my old age ;D
