One from the archives. I think they are ready to demolish this lovely house. Not sure if the trees are still there. Every time I look another tree gone, another old house gone.

Every hour of the day and night is an unspeakably perfect miracle. -~~ Walt Whitman

I’m pleased to announce that every Tuesday has officially become Taco Tuesday on the Quantum Fold II set.

The Arcturians, bless them, remain absolute deadweights when it comes to celebrating anything—but they adore tacos. Adore them so much, in fact, that wardrobe has had to discreetly let out several silver uniforms. I won’t name names, but you’ll notice the seams.

Pleasing everyone is impossible, of course. The Horocyclians refuse to touch tacos. They vastly prefer the taste of hybrids, which has created… complications. Not just on Tuesdays, either. A few cast members have gone missing, and let’s just say suspicions are high.

Still, mark whatever calendar your species uses and swing by every Tuesday for food truck tacos.

And whatever you do, don’t order the chicken. I’m almost certain it isn’t actually chicken.

Stay tuned for another chapter of Quantum Fold II

Every end signifies the start of a new beginning...

Every endless night has a dawning day

Every darkest sky has a shining ray

And it shines on you baby can't you see

You're the only one who can shine for me

Every winter the local bay freezes over and winter activities begin. When the ice gets thick enough the motorcycle races begin. Reworked from my archives.

Every time it rains, it's getting colder

I am sure I have used this quote many times before, but I love it and I love this picture of my little angel walking through this thick field of bluebonnets...it was so magical ♥

Just because I'm losing

Doesn't mean I'm lost

Doesn't mean I'll stop

Doesn't mean I will crossJust because I'm hurting

Doesn't mean I'm hurt

Doesn't mean I didn't get what I deserved

No better and no worseI just got lost

Every river that I tried to cross

Every door I ever tried was locked

Oh and I'm just waiting 'til the shine wears off

The best times of my life

Were the ones that had you

I had to bury them inside

To get me through

...

I got rid of everything that smells like you

Every dairy farm had one - a small building near the cow barn where the milk was stored [until it was taken to the local processing plant for bottling and shipping to markets.] On my grandparents' farm, refrigeration was by means of a large cement tank filled with icy spring water. The metal cans sat there in the water till there was enough to truck to the plant. A heavy cement lid kept it all cold.

This is a photo painting that started with a small cement block house that reminded me of the milk house on the old farm. Starting with the shed, the rest was painted from memory. My cousin and I spent a lot of time down here by the barn while milking was going on. There were always kittens to play with, and the hay mow on the barn's upper floor.

No art at all, just an every day's sunset seen through a dirty window. Maybe some day in a future far away I'll be bored enough to clean this window, until then I'd prefer to watch the sun going down and admire the beauty of dust and raindrops…

After a very grey afternoon on the Fife coast, this was a most unexpected golden sunsetat Elie

Cheddar is a small town in Somerset, England. The resident population is around 5,750. It is set at the foot of the towering limestone Mendip Hills and can be approached through a gorge, the largest in the UK. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and has evidence of settlements from 14,000 years ago.

Sometimes all you ever wished upon is hidden between your dreams and science of denying.

All of your fears come together paralysing you, stopping from even admitting how lucky you are.

And you are lucky.

With every single breath, step you can make and smile you are able to feel upon your skin.

I am lucky.

I survived.

I am alive.

With the fucked up heart, recovery for months and fact that I won't be able to lift that little creature for the first months of his life - but alive and kicking.

Sharing smiles I never thought that I missed even before I could see.

Because all we had from life is what we are able to admit it is our life.

Be grateful.

Be bold.

Be fearless.

This is one life you got.

And I got another.

My little boy is my heart. And I can say it literary.

P.s. as you could see, I was not active and I won't be active much because of my after-surgery heart recovery. I thank you all for being there for me and I must say I love all of you and some of you I consider as a real friend.

Nestled in the quiet Frogner neighbourhood, the Vigeland Sculpture park is home to Gustav Vigeland’s unique creations and the world’s largest sculpture park by the same artist.

The sculptures symbolize every aspect of human life.

All 212 statues depict human beings of different ages, sexes and sizes, stuck in different and sometimes perplexing poses. Vigeland wanted his statues to capture all the aspects of a person’s life, both in a literal and in a metaphorical sense. And he made them all naked, so that they remain timeless.

Vigeland Park is, in itself, an open-air museum. But there’s also an actual museum, located just outside the park in the space where Gustav Vigeland used to live and work, which most people either neglect to visit or are not even aware it’s there in the first place. (But it is definitely, positively worth a visit !!)

The Monolith stands at the highest point in Vigeland Park, and measures 17 meters above ground. The sculpture is carved out of one stone block, hence the name. The stone was originally shot out of the quarry in Iddefjord, Norway, and transported to the park during the late 1920s.

The sculpture depicts 121 human figures clinging and floating together. There's women and men of different ages, and the top of the Monolith is crowned with children. The sculpture has been interpreted as a kind of vision of resurrection, and our longing and striving for spirituality.
