Evening Grosbeaks are very closely related to the Hawfinch seen in Europe (Coccothraustes coccothraustes).

The females of these finch species look quite similar.

Sea voyage in the evening time with the last rays of the sun. This is the best way to organize a family boat trip. At sunset there will be a magnificent dinner, which will definitely be remembered for a long time and will leave the warmest impressions. Delicious dishes of national cuisine cooked on the grill.

The sun sets over Byron Hill as the shover's make another descent down to Fond Du Lac after shoving a southbound manifest over the summit. I'm sure many would beg to differ and say these units should still be "somewhere else" but it sure is neat to see this pair together in central Wisconsin.

Evening Grosbeak has a Conservation Status under the IUCN of Vulnerable www.iucnredlist.org/species/22720702/131500502

Evening Grosbeak is a species whose population has declined significantly in recent years, so it was a welcome sight to observe this female with that large lime-green bill. This bird was seen near feeders at a private residence in Princeton, British Columbia, Canada.

Just a quiet and unforgettable (and cold) evening
