Birds can still be heard occasionally in the fields. Otherwise, silence falls over the landscape. The poppies glow in the backlight of the setting sun. Our world is beautiful.

Another evening with the intention of filming the local barn owls.

Unfortunately I was slightly out with my sun down timings and then as the light faded I was distracted by this little beauty on route.

The owls did give a wonderful performance but it was far too dark to do anything but sit back and admire them.
