Strathaven in the main is very photogenic except probably this scene.
Was experimenting with longer exposures and HDR which is why it so weird.
The oak tree at the corner of the fields. Well after sundown but the sky stayed light this evening. It was very still and sound carried from all directions, trains and planes passed, the harvest was still being gathered a little way off, and there was some birdsong and plenty of noise from the pheasants
I captured this picture of the lighthouse of Ouddorp in the Netherlands on a beautiful warm evening in spring.
Another bird of the north woods, this bright colored grosbeak has a huge beak to crack the hardest of pine nuts.
We enjoyed several beautiful sunsets during our workshop in Joshua Tree National Park.

The sun sets over Byron Hill as the shover's make another descent down to Fond Du Lac after shoving a southbound manifest over the summit. I'm sure many would beg to differ and say these units should still be "somewhere else" but it sure is neat to see this pair together in central Wisconsin.
dig deep in the hardisk and found this image.. hope to get something special by tomorrow! oh yea.. pray for no rain! :D
