I decided to spent one evening shooting. Tested light, iso-settings etc. Here is one of those many shots I took that evening. More to come.

I am not sure if this is a wild flower or an escaped cultivar as I have seen them in the wild and in gardens. I do like this shade of yellow.
(The picture was taken without a tripod)

Next stop. A sailor climbed quickly the black stairs. He read thoroughly the indications of the astrolab. North, 5 to 7. Center. Some notes: wind, temperature, position. Aegean sea. Near to a burned rock.

Driving down the road, I just couldn't resist stopping and taking this photo. I don't think I have ever seen more prefect lighting.
This little peeper, a Sanderling, I believe, landed about 40 feet away from me on an old jetty. The fading light reflecting off the lake in the background made for a lovely shot.
Looking across the bay we get the most lovely evening light and sunsets in January.

Early evening
The Great Orme headland is a massive chunk of limestone rising 207m/679ft straight out of the sea.
Its name, given by the Vikings, means ‘sea monster’.
Each evening when I come home RA lets the toot out to greet me. She always brings a toy with. Yesterday it was purpie. She must have 50. Her fav toy of late has been Bucky-Beaver but we dont let her bring him outside. I tried to catch her looking at me but there was another dog barking across the way. Of course when she realized I was taking her picture she just had to come to me.
