Arrived at Hutton Le Hole Friday night, 9:30 pm,
Saturday night after Whitby tour, went in the crown, it was good food and friendly atmosphere.
The facades catch the last of the sun, each window reflecting a softer version of the day just gone. A long row of buildings stands like silent witnesses to the tide, their repetition broken only by the looming tower in the background.
From the beach, the scene feels both ordinary and cinematic. Concrete and glass are transformed by the glow of evening. For a moment, the city looks less like a line of apartments and more like a theatre set, where stories unfold behind each lit square.
This is what draws me in: how light can turn repetition into rhythm, and how the urban edge of the sea reflects its hushed drama.
Evening mood over the city center of Zurich. An end of a beautiful day with the setting sun behind Fraumünster and St. Peter Church.
An evening smoking session in progress in Varanasi ghat. With the sky in the Background with cloud pattern, it was a little difficult shot but definitely worth it.
Taken for the Jules Photo Challenge of August 2015. Capturing people/events/places that were a part of our daily life. August 13th.
We changed up our evening walk because my son wanted to join us on his bike, so we took to the nearby walking trail around the pond instead of walking the neighborhood. A took time out for each of us.
Sky shows, that its going to be very cold and windy soon. :) I took this shot yesterday (14-12-2012) when I was walking home from my college.

Dusk falling at the end of the brief winter day, and creating some nice reflections around the old Leamington Lift Bridge.
Main towers of Torres del Paine captured in the early evening light coming from almost clear dark blue sky. The reflection of sun in left side of image was so intensive that I regret the forgetfulness of sunglasses. But three different exposures were sufficient to catch all tones and colors in that evening.

Evening light over Foveaux Strait/ Te Ara-a-Kiwa. Rakiura/Stewart Island in distance. The strait which separates Rakiura/Stewart Island from Te Waipounamu / South Island is quite shallow (18 to 46 m) and is said to be one of the roughest and most unpredictable stretches of water in the world.

CSX Q606 has stopped clear of the North end of Floridale siding in Harold, Florida. He's awaiting a meet with local train M735 on the P&A sub. The color light signals are switch indicators for trains taking the main or siding out here in dark territory. After M735 would approach the distant approach signal he toned up to position the switch for the siding, but it didn't cooperate and he hand threw it in a downpour. 606 is sitting under a temporarily clearing sky. He will soon meet 735 and proceed without a meet until Chipley for Q601.
