Old picture taken in the early 90's when I first started shooting film.
A double exposure still life...one of my first which I still enjoy.
And absolutely equal in every possible way. Sometimes the obvious has to be stated; parameters have to be set. This equality is a 'Given'.
They were a very early manifestation of the 'they' singular pronoun. I say 'early' but the pedigree can be traced back through Sir John Dee and earlier alchemists.
They exist, and have always existed, to act as our 'Infinity' surrogate tour guides, that is surrogates, of course, for 'us', until we intuit the lay of the land ourselves, and split.
I like that they appear here to have settled in Florida.
And why not? After all, absolutely anything can happen. That's a 'Given' too.

I know you can use some of the older lenses will work on the new digital bodies. ( also use Canon and have older lenses for it but it doesn't quite perform like the Pentax does.) I use both brand of my cameras about equal. If I were going to do people I would take the canon.
Apart from all the lakes, and landscapes, there is flowers, birds, waterfalls, mammals etc. tc. This here is the desintegrating flower of the yellow water lily (nuphar lutea). I had never seen these amazing colors of the capsule.
From 11 june till the 25th of July, I traveled in Canada. Starting in Brighton Ontario, where my sister lives at the border of an amazing part of lake Ontario, I flew to Vancouver, and Vancouver island where I took the boat at Port Hardy to take part 1 of the Inside passage, to Prince Rupert in BC. Two days later I took part 2 to Skagway in Alaska. When coming from Skagway Alaska, you can take the train to Carcross. it is a very scenic train ride that halts at Bennet lake.
And then to Whitehorse and further on by car to Kluane National park in the Yukon district. Whitehorse is situated at the border of the Yukon. Frow there I flew back to Vancouver, rented a car, and traveled three weeks in the BC- and Alberta Rockies, visiting the famous, and less famous Nature parks like Banff and Jasper. Last few days back to Brighton Ontario to enjoy lake Ontario once more, before going home. 4000 pictures later, it is quite a task to show the right stuff, although the stunning scenery guarantees at least a few great shots to share. Objective will be to make a book (for myself mainly), and that might take a while.
I hope you will enjoy the impression of my travel, one that equals earlier journeys to Alaska and south America, this journey was the first in the digital era, and equally intensive because of all the hiking activities every day on and on. I loved every minute of it.

As two complimentary colors are in harmony, I would dare say so are two non-complimentary colors, too. Considering the former, such colors like blue and orange are the success to a Hot Imperial Crushed-Dramatic sunset. When we [rarely] think of the latter, those colors may be nearest their equals; in a sunrise, such as this one depicted, the blues offer a calm start to the unknown and infinite opportunities we get to learn and grow to simply live our lives [another day] that can intimidate us and the magenta's builds upon the blues' abilities to calm the eye but additionally adds excitement to the chill scene--allowing the frame to receive more excitement and for the eye to see and take in more beautiful moments...

Spring equals thunderstorms. This storm blew up right at sunset on Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City. It was really eerie...the sky behind the subject was brilliant and blue, but looking out over the lake toward the sunset, the clouds became dark and threatening in a matter of minutes.

Wealden house of 4-timber-framed bays including 2 open hall bays of about equal length. 2 storeys on stone plinth with cellar at right end. First floor of right and left end bays jettied on brackets. On first floor, left bay of hall has one tension brace either side of a central stud. Widely spaced studs in right bay of hall. Plastered coving from recessed hall to flying wall-plate, which is also braced from the end bays. Hipped roof with gablet at left end and stack off- centre to left in front slope of roof. Projecting stack at right end. Irregular fenestration of one 2-light sliding casement in left bay, one 3-light sliding casement in right bay of hall, and one 2-light ordinary casement in right bay. Arched door head at left end of left hall bay. C20 plank door.
Continuing with my special flickr food channel edition, this hispid cotton rat devours a leaf.
Hispid cotton rats are omnivorous, but the major portion of their diet consists of green vegetation. They occasionally consume insects and other small animals. Field observations of hispid cotton rat diet indicate that preferred foods are the stems, foliage, and seeds of crop and wild plants.
