Apart from all the lakes, and landscapes, there is flowers, birds, waterfalls, mammals etc. tc. This here is the desintegrating flower of the yellow water lily (nuphar lutea). I had never seen these amazing colors of the capsule.
From 11 june till the 25th of July, I traveled in Canada. Starting in Brighton Ontario, where my sister lives at the border of an amazing part of lake Ontario, I flew to Vancouver, and Vancouver island where I took the boat at Port Hardy to take part 1 of the Inside passage, to Prince Rupert in BC. Two days later I took part 2 to Skagway in Alaska. When coming from Skagway Alaska, you can take the train to Carcross. it is a very scenic train ride that halts at Bennet lake.
And then to Whitehorse and further on by car to Kluane National park in the Yukon district. Whitehorse is situated at the border of the Yukon. Frow there I flew back to Vancouver, rented a car, and traveled three weeks in the BC- and Alberta Rockies, visiting the famous, and less famous Nature parks like Banff and Jasper. Last few days back to Brighton Ontario to enjoy lake Ontario once more, before going home. 4000 pictures later, it is quite a task to show the right stuff, although the stunning scenery guarantees at least a few great shots to share. Objective will be to make a book (for myself mainly), and that might take a while.
I hope you will enjoy the impression of my travel, one that equals earlier journeys to Alaska and south America, this journey was the first in the digital era, and equally intensive because of all the hiking activities every day on and on. I loved every minute of it.

I’m using equal as my definition of balance. The two halves of my photo are equal in value (i.e. five cents). That is how my photo illustrates balance for purpose of this week’s theme.
Thinking further about balance they are not equal in mass/weight. I tried to emphasize that concept with the shadow. Nonetheless, I think it would still be considered a balanced composition with each half of the frame having approximately equal subject matter. Each half also has a profile of ex-U.S. president.
This is my first Macro Mondays submission since June. I took my photography hobby outside during the summer. No that it is getting cold again, I hope to be more active in this group.

We greatly enjoy the 38-inch My Size Barbie. Mattel makes various smaller 'My Size' as well, but we are always on the search for the true giants. We're thankful for our small cadre of six, especially since, over the decades, we found them all at second-hand stores for only a few dollars each. The 38-inch is readily available online, but at very high prices. So we continue to look and, each time we find one in the wild, it's a moment of toy celebration.
It should be noted that Anna here is not a Mattel Barbie My Size, but a Jakks Pacific My Size. At the same glorious size and build, we welcome Anna and Elsa among the four Mattel Barbies.
The Mattel My Size Barbie is a unique chapter in the brand's history, designed to blur the line between a traditional fashion doll and a "friend" for young children.
Standing at 38 inches (approximately 96 cm), she was engineered to be roughly the height of a three-to-four-year-old, allowing children to share clothes and play on an equal scale.
1992 - The Debut and Design
The first My Size Barbie launched in 1992. Unlike standard 11.5-inch Barbies, this version was constructed from hollow, lightweight plastic to make her maneuverable for children. Her most famous feature was her "wear-and-share" outfit—usually a formal ballgown that could be adjusted to fit the child, allowing them to twin with the doll.

Cefn Bryn is the highest point on the Gower peninsula. Earlier this day hubby and I had cycled up here as he was keen to attempt the climb. The ponies weren’t here then, there was a group of the, lower down the hill gently ambling across the road, which, on going uphill didn’t really matter. By the time we were flying down the hill they had moved off onto the grassland.
There were some cows up on the brow of the hill too, there were three or four of them totally obsessed by a Belgium car which the family found quite amusing and stressful in equal measure ( they could have crowded our car, yes, but they haven’t type conversation).
These two foals were just lying and chilling in the keen wind that was blowing.
Llanelli can be seen on the horizon with the Lougher estuary where the famous Penclawdd cockles are picked just separating the Gower from Llanelli.
We watched for a while before going off for our own adventure down to the Worm

What is the difference between St Maarten and St Martin?
During the 17th Century there was intermittent rivalry between the Dutch and French for control of the island and its salt mines. In 1648 the two countries signed the Treaty of Concordia which divided the island in two and urged its people to live in a cooperative manner.
Saint Martin (French: Saint-Martin; Dutch: Sint Maarten) is an island in the northeast Caribbean Sea, approximately 300 km (190 mi) east of Puerto Rico. The 87-square-kilometre (34 sq mi) island is divided roughly 60:40 between the French Republic (53 km2, 20 sq mi)[1] and the Kingdom of the Netherlands (34 km2, 13 sq mi),[2] but the two parts are roughly equal in population. The division dates to 1648. The southern Dutch part comprises Sint Maarten and is one of four constituent countries that form the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The northern French part comprises the Collectivity of Saint Martin and is an overseas collectivity of the French Republic. As part of France, the French part of the island is also part of the European Union.
