While I was walking and admiring the wonderful shapes and colors of the sunset along with the sailing boats at the marina but also the trading ships far away , there was an absolute peaceful scenery and i was wondering why i was not making my move to shot this ... but then suddenly inspiration came .....yes, that was what it was missing .....this is what intrigue me to pick up my camera and shot ..... it was this theTHIRD ELEMENT... this small boat coming slowly out of the port , and with its presence breaking up the tranquility and making scenery more vivid

I will be introducing a human element into my otherwise lifeless abandonment. Making her debut is the beautiful Kerby Clifford. You will be seeing more of her in images to follow. First a series of three portraits here and then more of an appropriate Halloween theme.
Visited an old friend at his beautiful farmhouse in Thailand - it's all designed by him, right from the ground up.
I made a point of travelling with my trusty Canon 85/1.2L with the specific purpose of capturing a photo of him 'in his element' and somehow this shot does just that. Foreground and background subtly 'sketched in' whilst the sitter himself is in a razor sharp sliver of focus - that's why I love this lens.
I also discovered the joys of shooting using the LED screen of the 5DII as a super-sensitive focussing aid (which really comes in handy with these very shallow depth-of-field shots). To be honest, I'd never realised, until just then, that the camera even had that function!!! (Duh!) Now I love using it.

Honda introduced the Element in 2002. The rear doors open backwards and there is no B-pillar. It was not sold in Europe so most probably this one was imported from the USA. The Element was discontinued in 2011 without a direct successor.
This was all about the concept of the elements fire and water. Turns out they do mix after all, at least in this painting!
This living room has a lot of nice detail sprinkled through the design. The wall is probably the most appealing element of the design. The different textures create a wonderful contrast without clashing. The artistic touch is also palpable in the painting and accessories. There is less going on in the center of the room and furnishing to counter the detail in the wall
