I paesaggi di pianura, osservati ad altezza d'uomo, appaiono composti da elementi orizzontali. Si tratta di fasce in cui si riducono per ragioni prospettiche i grandi spazi. Oppure di elementi verticali d'orizzonte, che la distanza riduce comunque in fasce cromatiche. Come in questo caso, in cui una fascia di canneto e una schiera di montiformano un paesaggio ..... ..
Gli elementi essenziali per la vita sul Pianeta: la luce solare e le piante. Senza la fonte perenne di luce che inonda di colore la superficie della Terra e di gioia di vivere il nostro animo, non ci sarebbe vita. Nè essa potrebbe esistere senza gli organismi speciali che la catturano e la trasformano magicamente in sostanza organica e dunque in materia vivente ..... ..
Un fiore di fiordaliso (Centaurea sp.) e una piccola ape nera: come a dire una "combinazione elementare", o meglio, una relazione ecologica elementare; in questo caso, di natura trofica. In questa immagine scontata, in questa relazione semplice e diretta, tuttavia, c'è la chiave stessa della vita sul Pianeta. Al punto che un Genio dell'Umanità si è spinto ad affermare che gli umani si estingueranno tre anni dopo l'estinzione delle api ..... ..
Se trata de un reflejo del mar en el puerto de Tarragona...recortado solo el reflejo, lo he duplicado e invertido ( este en la parte baja )...a este duplicado le he añadido un poco de desenfoque de movimiento...finalmente convertido a B&N con virado azulado...los reflejos corresponden a un edificio característico del puerto (derecha) un mastil de velero (izquierda), detrás del cual se reflejan casas del Serrallo. ... Para corregir: voltear horizontalmente la imagen, para representar más fidedignamente la disposición real de los elementos...
Antonio Blázquez está creando en los canchos del Berrocal un paisaje escultórico dentro de un paisaje natural, a través de acciones que no modifican los elementos naturales, «que por sí mismos tienen un valor plástico, sino que más bien se complementan aportando acciones precisas que derivan en un mayor interés estético de los elementos que no poseen dicho valor por sí mismos».
Seagulls have made the remaining pieces of the old King's Wharf a home. The light on the morning I took these photos was very dull, with little bits of a pastel blue sky breaking through the gloomy clouds. It's hard to imagine that just a little over 50 years ago this was a bustling maritime environment.

This covered public space not only marks the entrance to the trade fairs, but is also a meeting place for locals and guests. The architects call the striking hole in the center a "window to the sky".

- Datación.- 1910 - 1919.
- Estilo.- Ecléctico con abundantes elementos Modernístas.
- El dilatado periodo de ejecución del proyecto determinó una cierta heterogeneidad en el edificio. En principio, se construyó para viviendas; luego se añadió una parte para oficinas.
En la decoración, cabe destacar las grandes columnas, los techos de estilo Francés y las galerías, tan típicas de A Coruña.

This was an experiment with a vintage Canon FD 17mm lens connected to my DSLR. The adaptor moves the focal plane and reduces the ability to focus on infinity. With most FD lenses on digital this is fine and just means you get a close up or macro lens.
But when you do this with a lens that is as wide as 17mm then you have no focal plane at all! This leaf is actually pressed against the front element of the lens with the lens focussed on infinity! So this is the best focus you can get with the object actually touching the lens! Never tried this before.

La Grand Place es el corazón de Bruselas y casi, me atrevería a decir, que de toda Bélgica.
Es una auténtica joya arquitectónica, ya reconocida desde 1998 como Patrimonio de la Humanidad, capaz de arrancar una inevitable exclamación de sorpresa nada mas llegar a ella por una de sus calles.
Esta plaza de 10x68 m, es una de las más bellas de toda Europa y el motivo por el cual merece la pena acercarse hasta Bruselas.
La Grand Place encierra en sus edificios toda una muestra de auténtico arte renacentista, con elementos flamencos, góticos italianizasteis e incluso neoclásicos.
Un lugar en el que nos se ahorraron esfuerzos par adornar profusamente y casi con fantasía, para componer toda una melodía elegante de arcos, fachadas, relieves y cúpulas.

As we made our way through the Nicola Valley, the shadows grew longer, and the colors got more intense. Time of day is the first component in the broth for capturing those wicked colors. When the sun gets lower in the sky, cool blue rays are slowly replaced with warm red rays. And, adding a polarizing filter to both remove stray white light, and saturate colors, is the second part.
The third element to successfully capturing those rich colors, is to do so after it rains, which had recently happened. This in turn clears the atmosphere of various particulates, sort of like cleaning the front element of your lens. Now with all three ingredients of my recipe in place, it is no wonder this is my favourite time to shoot a landscape.
