As part of my ongoing movie and TV vehicles project, lately I've been looking at flying vehicles. Korben Dallas' flying taxi, from The Fifth Element, seemed like an obvious option.

Mehrere Bundesländer, nicht alle, veranstalten in unregelmäigen Abständen Landesgartenschauen. Im Land Brandenburg findet 2022 eine solche Schau, abgekürzt LAGA, in der Stadt Beelitz, gelegen ca. 43 km (Luftlinie) südwestlich von Berlin statt. Beelitz, gegründet vor ca. 1000 Jahren, hat zusammen mit mehreren in den letzten Jahren eingemeindeten Dörfern der Umgebung etwa 13.000 Einwohner und ist das Zentrum eines großen Spargelanbaugebiets. Spargel, vor allem der weiße, wird in Beelitz und Umgebung schon seit über 150 Jahren angebaut. Er spielt auch eine große Rolle auf der LAGA 2022 als dekoratives Element und in einer Ausstellung über den Spargelanbau. Außerdem bietet ein großes Restaurant, betrieben von einem großen Spargelhof, Spargelgerichte. Für die LAGA wurde eine wenig attraktive Festwiese, die sich zwischen der Altstadt und dem Fluss Nieplitz erstreckt, in einen großen Park umgestaltet, der den Einwohnern dauerhaft zur Verfügung stehen wird. Die beliebten und alle zwei Wochen wechselnden Blumenschauen, in denen Gärtnereibetriebe ihr Leistungsvermögen demonstrieren, finden mitten in der Altstadt, in der 800-jährigen Stadtpfarrkirche St. Marien und St. Nikolai statt, die nach der LAGA wieder als Ort für Gottesdienste genutzt werden wird.
Several federal states, not all, organise state garden shows at irregular intervals. In the state of Brandenburg, such a show, abbreviated LAGA, takes place in 2022 in the town of Beelitz, located about 43 km (as the crow flies) southwest of Berlin. Beelitz, founded about 1000 years ago, has about 13,000 inhabitants together with several villages in the surrounding area that have been incorporated in recent years, and is the centre of a large asparagus-growing area. Asparagus has been grown in Beelitz and the surrounding area for over 150 years. It also plays a major role at LAGA 2022 as a decorative element and in an exhibition about asparagus cultivation. In addition, a large restaurant, run by a large asparagus farm, offers asparagus dishes. For the LAGA, a less attractive festival meadow stretching between the old town and the Nieplitz River has been transformed into a large park that will be permanently available to residents. The popular flower shows, which change every fortnight and in which gardening companies demonstrate their capabilities, take place in the middle of the old town, in the 800-year-old St. Mary's and St. Nicholas' Town Parish Church, which will once again be used as a place for church services after the LAGA.

Gisele: I am so excited when I found out that I got in the competition. My heart was racing and my skin covered in cold sweat when the cast announcement came out. For the first challenge, we got to do a photoshoot based on the natural elements. I got the water element. My inspiration for my photo is that I am a shy sea goddess while still looking elegant and sultry.

captured just around the corner from plaça espanya in palma, this image plays with geometry, contrast, and motion. the bold, repetitive patterns of the building’s facade create a striking architectural backdrop, while the zebra crossing guides the viewer’s eye to the man in motion. his casual stride and the paper in his hand add a human element to the rigid symmetry of the scene. the deep shadows and strong light evoke the sharp, sunny afternoons of mallorca, blending minimalism and street photography into a moment that feels both dynamic and timeless.

Solo Chase Day & Close to Home....
Luv it when the chases are in my backyard. Not having to drive 3 states and 1200 miles in 1 day is relief. I know I'm not the only chaser that says that. This was a phenomenal afternoon of severe weather. When I say this... It means that its photogenic & for the most part not effecting the farms, agriculture, livestock & the human element.
Mammatus before the storm, then I decided to bail on this first storm for the next which was to the north about 25 miles. This storm had wicked good rotation under the base. Even though it was high based it was producing some freakin awesome views.
The storm had overtaken my position and I had a 40 min drive to get back in front of this storm. It was on my tail the whole way back to the I-80 corridor. Though a little late I was still able to get back in front of shelf cloud. The teeth on the outflow were almost scraping the ground. It gave the effect of a funnel but it was not. Been doing this to long to make sure I know the difference.
That was a hoot. Though I waited til the last minute. I got swallowed by the core & had to wait it out. Want to see what its like out in the open with no shelter... This I have also done a billion times. 50mph winds rocked my truck! That was fun!
Finally, I blazed it backed to Kearney for this Storms Finale... Beautiful Sunset light illuminates the exiting storm with a Anvil Rain & Mammatus Cluster ... It was truly a Sight to See!!!!

It's a little strange passing through the upper Tanana Valley lately. The Caribou are spread throughout the Taiga, but usually we just see a face or a flash of rust colored fur as the groups of reindeer pass silently through the almost impenetrabe, snow covered forests.
