So I tried my hand at the Dragan effect. wasn't trying for a fancy background or anything just wanted to see it I could make it work. Love how it turned out so now I can play with it.

Well, it's now almost four months since Wessex Water started work to replace a water main along our road as part of a larger undertaking.

 

Bakers Orchard - which, just for the record, runs from the junction with Station Road (by Crowcombe Bridge) down to the station - has a small Close or cul-de-sac giving access to four of the houses. This is the current view looking into their area.

 

Wouldn't you feel just a little hemmed in??

I took this breathtaking photo up top in Boston's Prudential Observatory Level where I took this pic and captured an abstract effect caused by the glass mirror. Here it looks like there are people floating in the horizon line inside a rectangular shaped view aka window. It reminds me of the Windows 10 computer home screen logo!

My Lego M35 Mako from my favourite video game series Mass Effect. I built it myself and based it initially on images of Saber-scorpions version.

I tell ya, this stuff is so much fun! This is an old balsa wood model I made when I was like 12 years old. I thought they were the $hit, so I made like 5 of them. I'm hoping to use a few more and make this into a series.

But either I need to buy more batteries or buy a AC adapter cause my batteries take a beating!

with the shutter open for 10 seconds, i could only get about 20 pictures until I had to change them.

but this is light painting number two!

I had to do this one in layers, no biggie, just build em in PS CS3.

go check out CS3 if you haven't. it's pretty much the same as CS2 with a few added features, the biggest and most helpful I've seen so far is a much improved photomerge for stitching photos together for panoramas.

Stumbled on this while trying to declutter the background of a shot- applying PaintShopPro's 'one step noise reduction' blurs fine detail, giving a watercolor effect

Same filter can also turn long grass into brush strokes.

I put a layer of pale lavendar over the rose, then reduced the opacity to create a soft focus, greeting-card effect.
