I came across this while walking through the University of Auckland campus a couple of days ago. I couldn't get around it so had to wait to get where I wanted to go. Something about it reminded my of how the institution approaches technology to support eLearning. Wouldn't one of these have been better: music.yamaha.com/products/main.html?productId=1200
Maybe I'll start to add some explanations about the sketches. Here goes: So these are sketches I am making as part of an MSc in Digital Education with the University of Edinburgh. They explore some of the topics we are studying. Technology, space, distance, identity, presence are common themes, which inspire me to make these. Doodling is a way of taking visual notes in the course. I am sure there are more efficient methods. For example, the word co-presence scribbled has more depth than my sketch, but this circuitous visual route is more fun.

This one just fails in many levels. But I thought the idea of an online learning course at Hogwarts is hilarious, the possibilities awesome. That could be a fun spoof on an academic paper, or maybe the idea is worth more.
