Dream dream, even for a little while
Dream dream, filling up an idle hour
Fade away, radiate
I sit by and watch the river flow
I sit by and watch the traffic go
Imagine something of your very own
Something you can have and hold
I'd build a road in gold just to have some dreaming

A Very Happy New Year Everyone... <------listen if ya want!
Just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I'll be working all day and night but will catch up when I can..Be safe...be smart...enjoy each other! XOXO
A bit more tinkering from this evening this time with the dome. Did the dome first, changed camera position and coloured myself in. Wish I'd remembered to make the bed after the dome as it looks like I go to sleep fully clothed and without pillows or a duvet. Bet Ray Mears sleeps like this when he's not kipping in his garden.
Nice 1.

"All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible." -
T.E. Lawrence
Not my picture.
I found this old cardboard house so incredible, a great inspiration for my miniature sets.
It should be arround fifty years now!

I appropriate Aboriginal ideograms melding them to an English narrative thereby creating a cross cultural dialogue raising issues of ownership and authorship which attempt to overcome the barriers of our differing spoken languages and cultures. The chosen songlines are often banal or whimsical when compared to the sacred dreamings passed down through the 70,000 year history of artistic tradition belonging to the Aboriginal peoples of Australia.
My work concentrates on brightly coloured dot paintings, a particular style of work originating from Balgo, an area situated in The Great Western Desert 800km North West of Alice Springs.
This series of paintings have been exhibited in London, Cardiff (2x), Pembrokeshire (3x) and Barnsley (2x).

'Dream' is a 20 meter tall sculpture which stands on the site of the old Sutton Manor Colliery, near St Helens. Designed by Spanish Artist Jaume Plensa, it depicts the head of a young woman with her eyes closed in meditation. The sculpture faces due South, following the direction of the coal seam. It was cast from concrete and Dolomite marble and was officially unveiled on 31st May 2009.

The Dreaming Tree Crush Red Wine (North Coast, California - 2009)
For "Crush", Dave Matthews (lead singer of Dave Matthews Band) and Steve Reeder (internationally recognized winemaker) hand-selected a special blend of their favorite varieties to create a red wine that pulls you in with notes of smoky berry and a pop of raspberry jam. Around the dinner table or out on the patio, it’s a wine you’re going to want to share with your favorite people.
The beginning lyrics to the song "The Dreaming Tree" by Dave Matthews Band are actually on the cork itself and on the neck of the wine bottle. And ironically, "Crush" is yet another hit song by the Band - both songs are popular with the DMB fans - off the "Before These Crowded Streets" album.

I had a dream that I was in a store where they were selling Blacksuits but in the dream they were morphing into different shapes or textures or changing from orange and black to yellow, blue and white. These images created with prompts using recraftai get close to how the figurines looked in the dream.
Dreams are neccessary to life.

Today, I'm revisiting all my dreams, tick off those that have been realized and make new ones.
I've seen this for years now but never been able to bench it due to certain obstacles. I finally got a clean shot at it.

Purple often represents devotion, loving kindness, compassion, and healing abilities and deep purple often represents mystery.
I could watch you grow over forever, history-maker, waker of dreams. You're still standing as the storm steals your shingles, as moss and mildew take hold on your surface. I don't know what it all is, you might liken it to lichen, you might know more about it, but out here in the wild, rust and dust and rot and moth corrupt. That's the beauty of entropy, it's all coming down. That's the joy of humanity, we can do so much to keep it standing. The options are vast, like organ transplantation, but you just might ask how many swapped parts before a home isn't itself anymore. If a building was a person, what would be the brain? What is the final shift that turns all the old to new again? Her story is history, my vision of a past slipping. So maybe I've been falling, or tripping into love. Maybe my joy was what I found in dereliction. That's true, you know. What brought me peace in my homeland Nova Scotia wasn't any hope for the future. It was all the joy of seeing death in action, swallowed under the new life of nature. I'm happy to have it go this way.
