A dream catcher is used by the Ojibwa (Chippewa) as a charm. Only good dreams filter through. Bad dreams are caught in the net and disappear with the light of day.

Dream is having wings, flying free in the open sky but the reality is living in a small dark house, staying away from modern world. Seems like they, the tea garden workers, shouldn't have any dream. So, they painted their dream in their house.

This is a Virginia Range mare rescued by Hidden Valley Wild Horse Protection Fund ~ Approximately 150 Virginia Range horses were rescued from kill buyers bids at slaughter auction since Fall of 2012!
This mare is a once wild horse of the Virginia Range mountains in Nevada! Recently resolutions were recently put in place, allowing a largely known advocate group to buy them when they are removed in the future, a much better option than the slaughter auction! Google ~ American WIld Horse Preservation Campaign!
She looks like she is dreaming of the good old days, and her old home on the range. :(

The doll is so lovely, I love everything from her, from the box, the gowns colour combination, the hairdo and the face! so calm. Most of the original Barbie dolls and friends came in multiple hair colours so most of them never had a ‘set’ hair colour but I’ve always had my own thoughts on what matched who.
So yeah, it’s nice to finally get my hands on a Skipper with her original hair and it being the colour I imagine her character to having most of the time. With Skooter and Ricky I now have my dream team of kids.
This magnificent tiger seemed to be lost in his thoughts, maybe dreaming of roaming free on the Asian continent. It's a shame that it appears the only way some of the majestic animals in the world are going to survive is going to be in zoos. Hopefully in 100 years time children will still know what it is like for tigers,elephants,lions,cheetahs,rhinos and many others to roam free in their natural habitat.
Reasonably happy how this shot came out, considering it was shot through fencing whilst throwing out the focusing to eradicate the wire.

getting ready for the school fundraiser/auction. we are making the centerpieces....and i have no idea how these will turn out, but we'll see!! i'll post a pic when one is completed. as for now, i thought their handwriting looked pretty cool.

Gratitude Series - photo #54
This is from the Roozengaarde Tulip Display in Mount Vernon, Washington, taken four years ago. This was our second trip to Skagit Valley for their tulip festival. The tulips are just gorgeous! I think we've gone every year we've lived here! It's something you don't want to miss!
This year, the tulips seem to be taking their time sprouting up. We did have an extra hard winter: an unusual amount of snow and cold temperatures. I'm hoping we had enough rain to bring on a bumper crop this year. We shall see! Hope you enjoy my dreaming of tulips! :)
