Dark and gloomy with intermittent rain at Sutton Manor this evening.
It was sad to see that the structure has now become the victim of immature graffiti including phallic symbols. There is little respect for anything or anyone these days. 😠

I love dreamy soft curves when it comes to photography. I don´t think everything needs to be razor sharp to be beautiful.

Two of "The Endless" - DC Comics anthropromorphic personifications of the human condition; Dream helps define reality and Death defines life (there's a total of seven of them - look them upon Wikipedia if you want to learn more).
These two presented a challenge; Dream looked great with his pale make-up and contact lenses but Death was far too tan and healthy looking in comparison. I used a B&W layer and masked out everything but Death so that I could give her a much paler, yet believable, skin color. This included using different strengths of the masking (how much B&W would or would not show through) so that her eyes, lips, and teeth looked normal yet not as pale as her skin.
I think I did a bang-up job. Comments? Feedback is appreciated. ;-)

UPDATE: Dream and Death were featured in Uproxx's A Compendium of Cool Comics Cosplay: November 1st (2013). This made me smile (A LOT!!) when I saw them up on the site. :-D

Just a little mess around whilst bored today......
whilst i could have gone real wildstyle i was trying to keep the text readable for people who are not familier with graffiti.
For those that cant make it out.. the text reads ''DREAMS'' ..... or does it ????
This is a ambigram flip it up the other way round reads "FANATSY"

It used to come so often as a child.
Outlines of objects and people would flare and rainbow.
Three coloured rings of light cartwheel around me. The world fills with snow like a old tv stuck between channels, and the house would shake.
On the very last night I made my way under the house. There was a bull moose there, living in the crawl space. And as the world filled with snow and light he raised the house up on his antlers and shook his head.
Years later I saw him again. Hunting him in the dark, he was always just ahead, but we would see him now and then looking back in the distance. The three who were with me then said they were my guides in the chase.
I became lucid at some point and reached out my will to touch the leader of the guides. The three turned to me with great giant eyes that were pools of violet emptiness and with one voice together said "No, that's not why we are here."

All in camera light painting long exposure. Unassisted,no manipulation. I used a light stencil for the moose, and glow stick liquid for the vial and droplets on the table.
