Live wildlife cams from Africa produce remarkable digital backgrounds of life elsewhere. Ol Donyo in Kenya is one of the best with a huge diversity appearing at the waterhole including lions and striped hyena but elephants and giraffe feature often. Freddie the house cat seems to assume these are fair game but fortunately for him he will never know the harsh truth.

Visit to the renowned Woodward Dream Cruise on Friday, August 16, 2013. While the official "cruise day" (30,000 or more cruise vehicles) is Saturday, Dream Cruise events take place for the whole week prior along sixteen miles of Woodward Avenue from the city limits of Detroit to the city of Pontiac. While Friday predates the official cruise day, by the time we left at approx. 4 pm, Woodward was thronged with cruisers and the regular daily traffic moving at a glacial pace.
