Happy Pretty Pink Tuesday Everyone!

Have a beautiful day! Muaaaaah!!

Illustrated Dream series. Continued experiments with a focus on dream-like, somewhat surreal images. Custom background and effects.

I've finally finished my photo of the two coolest guys on the planet. Chris Rivera and Shelby Rae Robinson. Also with the help of GillyFace (she's also cool I guess...)

I just had a dream about a large apartment building. On some of the floors there were typical apartments with bathrooms included. On other floors there were only half-baths in the apartments and the showers were shared almost dorm-style. So here I'm trying to remember the room as close to the dream as possible. The feeling in the dream was one of community and every day life.

Thanks a lot to my friend Jing for doing the makeup, for arranging my clothes, taking the pictures and of course for being a great friend. Thank you so much.

Sweet , so sweet...like the nicest dream, pure white like heaven, you will feel like an angel inside this gown, beautifull little stars and silk flowers, it's really an enchanting outfit.

Now in our store :)

and it is endless dreaming.

It's a cold, wet, miserable Saturday morning. What can a girl do other than play and dream of the coming spring??

Have a wonderful weekend doing the things you love!!

Just a few metres from my dreamland, for the first time

Den Brandt Park, Antwerp, Belgium

Last night I had a dream I was in school. My teacher gave me a bucket of fresh popped popcorn and then told me there was going to be a "pop" quiz on the topic of pajamas saving the world with warm hugs. Oh what a wonderful dream it was.

"Seems that I have been held, in some dreaming state

A tourist in the waking world, never quite awake

No kiss, no gentle word could wake me from this slumber

Until I realise that it was you who held me under"

No more dreaming like a girl so in love with the wrong world"

Blinding: Florence and the Machine

This was a shot of a backbend gone wrong but there was something that I liked about it and so I played around with textures. I happened to be listening to Florence and the Machine and I guess this is what I ended up with. Not even sure I like the end result all that much, but I'm in a funk tonight about my photos and don't know what I like at the moment. ..I may look at this tomorrow or the next day and hit delete

What is a photo? I don't know exactly and I don't know if a photography can be read in the same way from everybody, but this, this picture, for me, is the memory of a dream, forever over my memory.

Thanks Fede

Another view of Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Dream lake is a short hike away from the Bear Lake parking lot. Bear Lake is at an elevation of 9,475ft, so coming from NJ at just about sea level, was pretty tough walk for me! The hike to Dream Lake was only just over a mile with an elevation gain of 425ft.

My first hike up there was a cloudy rainy day, but still beautiful. Second day, not a cloud in the sky, and somehow the hike seemed a bit easier, so continued on to Emerald Lake, which was another half mile or so, and another gain of 180ft in elevation, which felt like a whole lot more!!

But the view, was just stunning... Just sitting there for a while taking it all in, just clears the mind and good for the soul.

So therapeutic.....

Until 2 days later when everything hurts! :-)
