Haunted Dreams

In happy dreams I hold you full in sight,
I blush again who waking look so wan;
Brighter than sunniest day that ever shone,
In happy dreams your smile makes day of night.
Thus only in a dream we are at one,
Thus only in a dream we give and take
The faith that maketh rich who take or give;
If thus to sleep is sweeter than to wake,
To die were surely sweeter than to live,
Though there be nothing new beneath the sun.
-Christina Georgina Rossetti

"Did you know that I built this tree? Yes I sure did, limb by limb and inch by inch."
"Why did you build it so tall?"
"See those clouds?"
"Yes"
"Our dreams are up there. It will be a tough climb, but we will reach them. And if you ever slip or think you may fall, I will be right behind you to catch you."
"OK, I think I can do this. Let's go!"
That I was being followed
By a giant butterfly
He kept yelling
That I had something
On my back
But I wasn't going
To fall for that
I know he wanted
To suck
My brains out
So I just pretended
To not speak butterfly
It worked
Because I woke up
With all of my brains

I have over 15 000 views on my photostream now, and its a long time since I started on Flickr. And I wonder if I should do this still.
I see some get over 100 and more faves for really bad and cliché photos, but others that make artistic work struggle to get 15 faves. Sharpen up people, do not always please someone cause you can get an invite or fave back. I really dont like that side of Flickr. You should have some critical sense when commenting.
I joined Flickr in may 2010. Since then I have got one picture with faves over 70 (76), 2 pictures with 50 faves, 2 pictures with 40 something faves, 19 between from 30 to 39, and the rest under 30.
And I have posted 1 858 photos from SL and a few rl.
I know that not all of them are good, but I still wonder if its worth all the work I put in my pictures. Maybe I should use the time for something else or somewhere else.
Dreaming Dorothy

I'm inspired by 'The Wonderful Wizard of OZ'
Is Dorothy in real world dreaming of OZ?
Is Dorothy in OZ dreaming of home?
I hope people can imagine more wonderful story from this work. :)
Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
Travel the world and the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something
Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused
Long exposure taken from a great spot at the Narrow Neck Peninsula in Blue Mountains. I loved the strange rock pattern in the foreground and loved the motion of the trees and clouds. To me the trees looked like a dream maker, weaving the fabric of the clouds and creating their motion towards me.

I dream of a dream.
I dream that my dream shall someday come true.
I dream that all my dreams shall not remain just a dream.
I dream for that day when all these dreams are realised.
I dream that I don’t’ spend my days dreaming.
I dream that my dreams shall be more than just dreams.
I dream that these dreams will make me dream more.
Though these are dreams today,
I dream of making them a reality one day
