“Colour! What a deep and mysterious language, the language of dreams.” – Paul Gauguin Some days you just need a bit of colour
There's a place I go when I'm alone
Do anything I want, be anyone I wanna be
But it is us I see
And I cannot believe I'm falling
That's where I'm going, where are you going
Hold it close, won't let this go
Dream catch me yeah
Dream catch me when I fall
Or else I won't come back at all
See you as a mountain
a fountain of God
See you as a descant soul
in the setting sun
you as a sound just as silent as none
I'm yours...
(Extract from "Dream Catch Me" by Newton Faulkner, 2008)
Happy Sunday everyone! :-))
Yeah, sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter, and sing for the tear
Sing it with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away
Dream on
Dream on
Dream on
Dream until the dream come true...

Vega, Texas is known as "Crossroads of the Nation" due to its significance on U.S. Highway 66, and "The Solar Capital of Texas" because it is one of the top seven sunniest places in the U.S. but it's population has been in a slow decline, down to 884 in the 2010 census...

"Tamalpais Dreaming"
The Milky Way over Bolinas Ridge in Mt. Tamalpais State Park, Mill Valley, California.
This is one of the first Milky Way shots I took up on Mt. Tam on Saturday night. We arrived after sunset but there was still some twilight blue in the sky, on the right side of the photo. The glow of SF's city lights emanating through the fog are to the left. And if you look closely, you can see a Perseid meteor streaking toward the Milky Way in the center.

View of Hallett Peak and Flattop Mountain from Dream Lake along the Emerald Lake Trail in Rocky Mountain National Park.
a bit worn down today. hoping this sleep will provide her little body with the rest and strength it needs. sweet dreams little one.
Hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. Took a trail that was dotted with several small lakes, one of them being Dream Lake. The lake is just beyond the trees with Hallett Peak in the background (12,713 ft/ 3875m) It rained intermittently all afternoon with a few rumbles of thunder. The elevation here is about 9,905 ft./3,019m
Fog shrouds the landscape near Olympic National Park.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR VIEWS, COMMENTS AND
FAVES, ETC.
One from last spring. Cold & horrible here & I have a heavy cold so I needed something to cheer me up!
All the images in this set started out as photographs of some natural scene. I then played with them in Photo Shop in various ways. With some of them some element of the original photo can still be recognized, but with many of them, the end result is so altered that you probably wouldn't be able to guess the content of the original image. With all the symmetrical ones, I basically copied the image, reversed in, layered the reversed image on top of the original, then played with the result in various ways till I had something I liked. Lots of fun! Would love to get feedback/ responses.....
I would love to hear what you see in any of the images in this set! It never ceases to amaze me how different people see very different things in them.
