SHRINKAGE! ;-) After splitting so many thick ones last fall, most of my newly-thin dreads have squiggled and are zigzagging upwards & back onto themselves, so I'm actually losing length now rather than gaining. Loving the texture though, I prefer all the crazy shapes to the boring straight smooth dreads I used to have. I'll try to take some better pics once the sun comes back out (gotta love these grey Pacific NW winters...)
Dreads at 15 months. They hit a growth spurt a few months ago and now the back ones are growing like weeds!
I spotted the Dreadlocks from far away and knew that I had to stop for a chat and take a portrait of the Rastaman. The last time Micke cut his hair was back in 1997.

Loved this women's dreads! I saw soooo many sets there and came home completely ready to take the plunge. Oh, and by the way, her set was about 5 years old... wow.

These photos all look the same. My dreads have been crazy lately...they just kind of do their own thing :) So I wrangle them and tie them back everyday. It's rare that you would ever see me out and about town with them going everywhere like this. They are really stringy and all over. I'm looking forward to dying them blonde for the summer. Wheeeee!
