A clock keeps its silent vigil above the dark, its hands indifferent to the figure stepping toward the light below. Through the tunnel of shadow, the world outside glows white and full of motion — a tram, a fountain, the blur of ordinary lives — while one silhouette walks alone into the brightness, small against the architecture of time. The clock does not follow him. It only watches, the way time always does: present, unmoving, and utterly unconcerned with where we're going.

The mosque has all the modern facilities like the latest technology based sound systems. For the winter season the mosque also has the provision of hot shower. The Floating Mosque at Jeddah is a landmark of the city and is frequented by numerous tourists round the year from across the world. Floating Mosque in Jeddah bears testimony of the religion of Islam in Saudi Arabia. It is one of the marvelous sacred destinations in Jeddah. The architectural beauty with the huge decorated prayer space and the elegant rooftop gives a unique semblance to the mosque. A soothing ambiance is created inside the mosque. The serene ambiance in the interior of the mosque helps in meditating during the prayer. Not only the Muslims but people from all religions across the globe make it a point to visit the Floating Mosque in Jeddah at least once during their stay at the city.

Shot way back in March, I felt that I'd not only rushed this shot, but also that it didn't quite fit into my "style" and disregarded it.
Looking back over my catalogue today whilst choosing photo's for my promotional cards I re-discovered this one and decided to process it.
This has definitely made me consider doing my "big vista" shots in the in future...we'll see.

Yesterday I was in Emmerich am Rhein in Germany and I was trying to capture a beautiful sunset. This couple came down the road only to watch the sunset, I waited for the right moment and captured this moment.

On a rainy autumn day like today, it felt like the perfect moment to share this bit of sunshine.

This is a double-exposure created in-camera with Lighten Blend mode of the David Attenborough building in Cambridge, inverting the camera between the shots. The colouring was added in Nik Color Efex with a colour gradient overlay. The whole thing has been rotated 90 degrees, if that helps. It’s part of a set I am working on that I am calling Light Architecture.

Halloween oblige, cette image est le fruit d'un travail de création sous Photoshop, avec un changement complet de décor, un travail sur le fond et une reconstruction de l'ambiance lumineuse. J'avais envie de créer cette atmosphère froide et abandonnée, avec cette petite lueur rouge qui vient troubler l'obscurité. On ne sait pas vraiment ce qui s'est passé, ni ce qu'elle attend. Un petit détour du côté du fantastique et des histoires qui ne finissent pas forcément bien.
EN Halloween obliges, this image is the result of a creative work under Photoshop, with a complete change of scenery, a work on the background and a reconstruction of the luminous atmosphere. I wanted to create this cold and abandoned atmosphere, with this little red glow that disturbs the darkness. We don't really know what happened, nor what she expects. A little detour to the side of the fantastic and stories that do not necessarily end well.
