I always found it beautiful that a document with so few words perfectly summed up with such a vivid picture the times at hand and the changes this tattered country was going through. Decades upon decades later it is still so beautiful…

I'm gonna put this out there again with a little more info. I didn't really get the response I wanted last time.
So I would love a group of bloggers to show off my homes.
Here is the basic info of becoming a blogger for *Kukuvaya*
- I release about 1-3 homes each month. Soo not too time consuming.
- I would like for the houses to be decorated at least a little.
- Every release will be sent out to the Kukuvaya bloggers group. you get free houses yay! :P
Thats really about it. If you are at all interested please let me know! Just message me here or in SL with a little info about your blog.
We cleaned out his toy bins today and he found this little wooden camera I gave him last year for Christmas. I happened to have my camera with me so we took photos of each other and then to my surprise, he arranged some pieces from one of his puzzles and turned his little lens (upside down) on the arrangement and snapped away.
Arrangements and grading theory beginner papers. A new working week, its Monday again....

A little poem:
A sailboat in the moonlight and you
Wouldn't that be heaven
A heaven just for two
A soft breeze on a June nite and you
What a perfect setting for letting dreams come true
A chance to sail away to sweetheart bay
Beneath the stars that shine a chance to drift.
for you to lift your tender lips to mine
The things dear that I long for are few
Just give me a sail boat in the moonlight
and you

Jenna looked across at Jake, taking a minute from the cleaning of her automatic rifle, "If it moves I can shoot it! If I can hit it, it will bleed., and if it bleeds, I can kill it!" smiled Jenna.

In the 60s, during a banquet feast at the famed Port Arthur Restaurant on Mott Street in Chinatown, a very kindly salesman gave me a tie tack in the shape of a tiny golden lighthouse that lit brightly using a tiny battery.
These next two drawings show more or less one kind of process I use frequently. Cheap materials (xerox correction fluid, highlighters, ballpoints), a growing list of referents from anywhere in my mind that relate as I continue my design and a drawing style that complements this (I hope). The design is the drawing, text and references. In the Chinese style of funereal objects as Ming Qi, substitutes for objects and gifts for the dead abound.
Do these designs work? Only loosely. Are they functionally useful? Only loosely. Should they be built? Only abstractly, on paper and in thought. My fantasies are focused on the people and their lives for whom I am making these.
Here in this proposed design, the street photographer Vivian Maier inspires a remake of the Tessina for a watch camera dedicated to the late NY Times Architectural critic Ada Louise Huxtable whose book, "skyscraper-style" inspires in return a dedication to Maier's milieu. I like to work in doubles; if I could pick an iconic symbol for my own process, it would be a peanut in a shell.
The skyscraper cube detaches from it's wristband and extends to full-length before attaching onto an iPhone with a light tight seal of blu-tack that is originally stored in the skyscraper's base in a fresh plastic wrapper like a piece of gum. The top of the skyscraper is a dark slide that may have to be assembled and then inserted halfway in to use the viewfinder, the twin lens recalls Maier's Rolleiflex. Why did Leica never make a twins lens reflex design? When the subject is focused, pulling the dark slide all the way up allows the mirror inside to reflect the image towards the iPhone lens. By the time we all get to see this made in prototype, perhaps an iPhone app with an SLR function will have been invented to attach in this manner. Except for the iPhone attachment, this wrist camera function just like the legendary Tessina.

I feel in the half of my life path. I only have twenty years and I feelthat my future is uncertain, but maybe because I only twenty years. My benchmark is now aggregating, feel alive the ideals.
The rest then I have yet to experience it

I fear the camera as a few things in the world, because I hate my body despite I try every day to act as the strong woman of the situation. Woman because I realize every day that it is crucial to acknowledge to belong to the female gender for self-awareness and conscious and thus open to others, to the world.
Nevertheless, I do not accept my femininity, sexuality-related problems emerge in the outburst of the true me.
I am the spokesperson of this group, do politics for years, I'am 21, but I would go back to my childhood the girl shy once so disliked.
And instead I hide among others, with a hunger sick of love that leads only to an internal breakdown.
Write it here, you keep me

It is one of the many moments in life where you think you've missed a lot. Having invested so much into something that now maybe I don't believe anymore.
Or feel the need to change, to change everything, and never so many dreams and so many fantasies and then there's reality: so simple, it is.

A little while back build myself a little lightbox and spent some time playing with a 50mm lens, wide open apertures, low ISOs and long shutter times. Enjoy!
