My Creed by Edgar A. Guest
My Grandfather has this in his album next to the Obituary for his father. Clearly, he was a devoted son who revered his father -- C.C.Benscoter who signed his letters "The Patriarch"..

Saturday afternoon there was a great wine tasting event at the museum in Szeged, Hungary. I went there with friends and had a great time, with great Hungarian wines and the paintings of 19th century painter Munkacsy Mihaly.

Not much is known about Shakespeare: here, using evidence from his plays and Elizabethan documents, the author builds up a picture of what might have been his life.
St Paul's Literary and Educational Society, Bennett Street Sunday School. Odds and Ends is the handwritten manuscript magazine issued by the society. I was searching on-line and came across a repository of documents dating back to the Republic of Texas. I think it is sponsored by UT. Anyhow, I found quite a few documents related to my great, great, great grandfather, Jackson Smith, co-founder of Jacksonville, Texas in Cherokee County. In this document he is petitioning for a pension from his service in the Republic of Texas Army. It states that he served in New Orleans and Galveston guarding against Santa Anna. It also states that he emigrated to Texas from Kentucky in 1814.

COME TI SUONA?

Part of the reconstruction efforts at the Khmer site of Ta Prohm. I was excited when I spotted this team documenting the in-situ ruins. I tried talking to them, but they apparently didn't speak English and I unfortunately can't speak Khmer.

Business postcard printed for R Gordon Oliver used, in this case apparently, as a record concerning a debtor "fled from Bargoed" rather than having been sent. You can run from the National Federation of Credit Traders, but you can't hide from them!
From a collection of documents amassed by my late brother. These concerned chiefly the pursuit, and buying and selling of, debts by the Newport draper R Gordon Oliver.
