Ramadhan Mubarak
Good thing is this year Ramadhan's starting the same day all over Pakistan. Alhamdolillah. I'm happy about it. May be it's a positive sign, the first sign, in the bigger picture towards betterment.
May the month of Ramadhan brings to us Allah Almighty's countless blessings and bounties. In faith.
Please remember Pakistan in your prayers too. May Allah forgive our sins and enable us to devour his blessings everyday. Inshah Allah.

Finding old documents is a bit like finding treasure; it tells you more about the history of a place and its residents throughout the years. I hardly find these documents worth to photograph. But sometimes they’re truly special. These notary documents, from 1866 and 1881 are written all over by hand. It’s about the public selling of the property.
These abandoned warehouses in Briton Ferry, known locally as Wern Works, have been vacant since 2011. The seven-acre site has been home to many businesses since it was first used by High Duty Alloys in the 1950s.
These photographs, taken in June 2016, showcase the building as it stands today.
Inspiration for the framing of the shots came from the 1975 New Topographics exhibition.

Studying the beautiful Genbi Shinkansen, we are inspired to go in a different direction, perhaps even regressing, which is the purview of nostalgia.
The rustic log cabin of the 1800's American frontier land and the great black locomotives with billowing smoke are incorporated with the humble experience of early log cabin life which was devoted to farming and self-education at night are the design initiatives.
The light wells of an atelier bow wow house is adapted, multiplied, modified to create a mountain range of light wells that track the sun as the train moves to fill the central train cabin with an abundance of light for reading, and bringing the outdoor life into the enclosure. The central cabin shape recalls a main feature of the log cabin interior, the single bookshelf which contained all that was available to educator the frontiersman. This essential book collection is translated to the scale of the light well "chimneys", each one representing a single book. Thereby, each Shinkansen will have a slightly different configuration.
The books of the inaugural Shoten Shinkansen are: an English dictionary, Bible, farmer's almanac, poetry anthology, story anthology, and Beeton's cookbook. The train sizes/book collection will vary from six to ten light wells/volumes. In this aspect the books and shelf form a unit that developed for this atelier into the formal design.
From a distance, the moving stacks recall the billowing smoke of the early locomotives.
The front car design derives from the chinese character of book 書. Unfinished wood finish outlines the interior, which has only the light-wells and no windows also part of the log cabin experience.
The menu would offer firstly a selection of American pies and rustic cuisine.
This Shoten 書店 train is an amalgamation of the Shinkansen with the historic early American bookmobiles of Baltimore.
For my son who loves Shinkansen and trains.

My 15th wedding anniversary is in July. Yesterday Rachel had taken off her rings and left them in a dish by the sink....I seized the opportunity to create this photo which I will have printed as a card....Knowing I would be doing this at some point, I had already printed the background, which is a sheet of paper with the words that I associate with our marriage...shhhhhh.....don't tell!!
We've been through a lot together, especially in the past 5 years! According to one of the kids docs, 75% of marriages involving children with special medical needs end in divorce. I have always hated statistics, so we're just not gonna let that happen!
Challenging as they may be....here's to another 15 more....and 15 after that....and 15 after that!!!!!
This guys are in charge to control motos crossing the barangays (districts) in PH. After they controlled me they noted that I had my camera and asked me to picture them :) funny moment !

Art.1 – Debbono essere custodite e curate nei manicomi le persone affette per qualunque causa da alienazione mentale; quando siano pericolose a sé e agli altri o riescano di pubblico scandalo e non siano e non possano essere convenientemente custodite e curate fuorché nei manicomi.
