Three original business documents, issued by the Jaffa & Jerusalem Railway between 1892 and 1914 and carrying various Turkish-Ottoman stamps, dealing with the transport of passengers (probably Russian pilgrims) aboard several chartered trains from the Port of Jaffa, near Tel Aviv, to the city of Jerusalem.

Ramadhan Mubarak
Good thing is this year Ramadhan's starting the same day all over Pakistan. Alhamdolillah. I'm happy about it. May be it's a positive sign, the first sign, in the bigger picture towards betterment.
May the month of Ramadhan brings to us Allah Almighty's countless blessings and bounties. In faith.
Please remember Pakistan in your prayers too. May Allah forgive our sins and enable us to devour his blessings everyday. Inshah Allah.
Prayers asked.
ps:
I was so confused which one to post .. so I posted both :)

I love to scribble ever since i was a kid. This time i manage to scrible my next MOC mecha based on Digueta series. I plan to name this upcoming mecha IWM Type83 "KURA" yes i kid you not..its name after a tortoise in Malay language because of the shape 😉
Friday after work we drove to "the plateau" to see the Louisville skyline, which was hidden by fog. Spontaneously pointless trips are the best.

Manuscript title: Silver Book of the Land
Manuscript summary: On 86 leaves of parchment, the Silver Book of the Land contains the statutes of the entire region of Appenzell. It is an assemblage of older legal texts; at a later time more recent statutes were added to it. Following the division of the region of Appenzell that took place in 1597, the book became the property of the Canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden and remained valid into the 19th century. Rich decorations consisting of miniatures and initials indicate the great importance attributed to this volume.
Origin: Appenzell (Switzerland)
Period: 16th century
Image source: Appenzell, Landesarchiv Appenzell Innerrhoden, E.10.02.01.01: Silver Book of the Land (www.e-codices.unifr.ch/en/list/one/laai/E-10-02-01-01)
The To - Do symbol is an empty square box. If it has a dot in the box, it's a priority for the day. A check mark means it's done. A horizontal line means it's deferred to another day. An X through the box means I'm not going to do it. A 'P' means I've made progress. A 'D' means I've delegated it to someone else. A 'T' means that I need tools I don't currently have to do this task, and that I've added getting those tools to the to-do list. The to-do symbols were borrowed from Bill Westermann's system.
I also have pages that are notes about specific subjects -- movies or bands I want to see or hear, websites people tell me about, and so on. There's a whole raft of these symbols now, as my life gets more complicated. Some are borrowed from others.
Update, December 4, 2008: This system reached 3,000 views. It's my most popular photo by a factor of three, I think.
My 15th wedding anniversary is in July. Yesterday Rachel had taken off her rings and left them in a dish by the sink....I seized the opportunity to create this photo which I will have printed as a card....Knowing I would be doing this at some point, I had already printed the background, which is a sheet of paper with the words that I associate with our marriage...shhhhhh.....don't tell!!
We've been through a lot together, especially in the past 5 years! According to one of the kids docs, 75% of marriages involving children with special medical needs end in divorce. I have always hated statistics, so we're just not gonna let that happen!
Challenging as they may be....here's to another 15 more....and 15 after that....and 15 after that!!!!!
