While in Topaz Adjust 4, I'm never sure if the Diffusion effect will be too much. sO I experimented with setting it fairly high on this photo. It gives a nice lithe glow without getting too much in the way. I like it.

I butchered a £2 soft box from ebay and put a bent bit of plastic at the end from a drinks bottle. I lined the inside of the soft box with relective sheeting and on the back of the bent plastic I attached a triangular shaped reflector to bounce the flash away from the centre to avoid a hotspot. It seems to work quite well but needs more testing. I've only just started testing it out, with good results but it's quite awkward to remove from the flash without warping its shape.
I wanted a diffuser for my flash, and I was feeling crafty. So, I built one. It's made of cardboard, nice white paper, gaffers tape, duct tape and glue, and it took me about 3 hours to design and build.
I cut apart the prototype and traced it onto the cardboard. I did a terrible job. You don't want the pieces as close together as I made them, and you'll want to plan it out a little.
