College of DuPage students presented the results of research projects conducted in their Composition II courses at the third annual “See Writing Differently: A Celebration of Writing.” Students engaged with real audiences of fellow students, faculty members, staff, administrators and community members.

Different claws and buckets do different jobs, and are kept at the ready.

Fortunately for me, Honey Pot Barrel Racing has a pole bending race too. It’s a nice break towards the end of a long day and gives me a chance to come up with some different angles and compositions. I have to admit I was starting to fade this late in the day — about 7 hours in. But it’s a good kind of tired.

I was playing with photoshop today! Had some fun with mirror images.

 

Tetsuo Harada concoit une oeuvre d’art de différents tableaux végétaux sur toute une saison qui va septembre à novembre de l’année suivante. Avec l’aide du tableau de la semis et de croissance des végétaux, Tetsuo Harada met en scène le concept du land-art les champs de la Beauce. Tetsuo Harada dessine en de nombreuses étapes suivant la croissance et les couleurs de végétaux en automne, hiver, printemps, été et automne de l’année suivante. Tetsuo Harada travaille en collaboration avec des agriculteurs Hervé Mardelet et Claude Violette et Thierry Chateignier et INRA puis de nombreux agriculteurs de Beauce pour réaliser cele Land art appelé Les Champs de la Beauce 2005. Développé sur la commune de Autheuil dans le département de Eure et Loir près de Chateaudun.

C’est une oeuvre sculpture végétale agrémenté de nombreuses sculptures de Tetsuo Harada qui forment des parcours promenades dans lesquelles le public nombreux peut toucher, voir et sentir. Le land-art se dévelppe au cours des saisons dans le champ de culture de Monsieur Thierry Chateignier ocuupant 5 hectares soit 50000 m2. Sont cultivés 50 plantes alimentaires, plantes aromatiques, plantes médicinales, plantes energetiques, plantes pour l’habillement, etc.

Ce land-art est organisé par des agriculteurs avec de nombreux sponsors et dans le cadre du 1er Festival euro land art.

 

Tetsuo Harada creates a work of art of different plant paintings over a whole season from September to November of the following year. With the help of the painting of the sowing and growth of plants, Tetsuo Harada stages the concept of land-art the fields of Beauce. Tetsuo Harada draws in many stages following the growth and colours of plants in autumn, winter, spring, summer and autumn of the following year. Tetsuo Harada works in collaboration with farmers Hervé Mardelet and Claude Violette and Thierry Chateignier and INRA then many farmers of Beauce to realize this Land art called Les Champs de la Beauce 2005. Developed on the commune of Autheuil in the department of Eure et Loir near Chateaudun.

It is a work of plant sculpture embellished with numerous sculptures by Tetsuo Harada which form walking paths in which the numerous public can touch, see and feel. The land-art develops during the seasons in the field of culture of Mr Thierry Chateignier on 5 hectares or 50000 m2. 50 food plants, aromatic plants, medicinal plants, energy plants, plants for clothing, etc. are cultivated.

This land-art is organized by farmers with many sponsors and within the framework of the 1st Festival euro land art.

Differenza fra DEMs generati da dati LIDAR corretti per gli errori sistematici e non, acquisiti durante le campagne sul Mt. Etna del 2004 e del 2005 in un’area non soggetta a naturali cambiamenti morfologici. La banda di errore NE-SW dovuta al disaccoppiamento fra strisce di acquisizione contigue, sia dei dati del 2004 che del 2005, è scomparsa dopo la correzione.
