There were bunches of other events, and they all had different starting times. I forget whether this was the 5K, 10K, or what.
At backyard i found it, Our backyard is fully of grass. I interested pretty red flower inside a lot of green.

We were trying different fireworks in the firework hat last weekend. Nancy took the videos, so I could see what each one looked like. No one ever told her you have to hold the camera right side up unless you have software that can 'rotate' the video, so here you have me trying out "Color Pearl Flowers" while apparently lying on my side.

Same beach, different year. Another lazy january day in Rio.
From here you can see Arpoador, Ipanema, and Leblon beach even further.
A few minutes after this shot, the sun was setting, and people began clapping at it.
Been a while since I last saw that.
Two different shots that I took of Billy the other night originally to submit as my entry to the Flickr 64 group, but my computer crashed, I thought these where gone forever..but turns out I found them on my external drive after all. We had fun doing these and I loved what the fiddy was doing in the low light with the dark and wet street, but I had to scratch a lot of them because of the harsh light on the left side of his face... but each one has been all been processed differently and I thought it would be a good idea to hear some feedback on them.

The natural lighting shots were difficult, I wanted to challenge myself to try something different. One of the more "crisp" shots I took.

I liked this little guy looking for his own light off to the side. Overexposed, should have compensated for the sun.
Different cars, different lives, different people...all chasing the same dream...winning big at the casino...
There's a strange and different world that exists just under the forest floor, where the long-lost cellars harbour a bit of rust and trash, grow trees, and gather water. These long cold weeks without rain or snow have a certain eerie sensation about them. Icy stretches that linger along, not much hint of winter. It's not so different than the limbo lying around down below. You could come back a year or a decade later, and nothing should really change. Maybe I'll stumble by half a century from now, and still find all these rocks in place. The story of stone doesn't ever end, even if it gives up no names or dates. You can place your present over someone else's past, and they won't complain about it. But it'll do you both good to slip in a little passing remembrance.
