I did get out at the weekend, but nothing too exciting.
I was inspired by somebody else's work 'Ken' so I tried something different. This was my very first attempt at this. I set the camera on the tripod in the bedroom. With the help of my two little boys, these were the results. I took about 15 shots. There is certainly room for improvement :)
A different point of view for today's Daily Posting. Here's my newly acquired vase of daffodils - who would shoot a picture of just the stalks? (Love the green!)
When I was a kid I like the Knights of Columbus outfits, but I thought they were old Naval Admirals like I saw pics of in my history books. Plus, that's what my dad told me they were, but he didn't always tell the truth. When I went to my first communion at church they formed an arch in the aisle with swords raised over us. My dad said they did that so they could cut our heads off if we screwed around on the way to the alter to get our wafers..one nod from the priest, and that's it for me! I was good after that.
Oh...and I like the shriners alot as well. Especially when they had on their cool outfits with baggy pants, sashes, short fancy jackets, a fez on their heads and expecially their semitars! I used to think they were from the Sahara Desert and just came over to be in our parades. I was disappointed when I found out they were just a club of local guys :(
Masons aren't as cool as the other two. They have fancy necklaces with boomerangs on them and some kind of English hat. But they do have secret handshakes...so they're cool too :)
Just another experiment with Photoshop brushes. I really like it!!! :D I'll give a cookie 2 whoever can guess whos eyes are in this picture :3
(P.S.-The inspiration to this piece comes from Tobymac's "Diverse City")
God Bless!!! XD

I like it? I think.
