St Helen and Jesus in Valetta, Malta 2012
Before anything is said, I have to give credit for this photo to my mother. I simply did some post-processing to help match the mood. I will forever be so severely jealous of this shot. I absolutely adore it.
“The devotion of the greatest is to encounter risk and danger, and play dice for death.”

If I am right
If I can be
Constant and faithful
You'll find me
In my devotion
In my devotion
What if you find a fault
Between my purpose and my deeds
And deem me beyond salvation
Judge me to be unworthy
Of your devotion
Of your devotion
If this be obsession deliver me
A passing infatuation deliver me
A feeling lacking in purity deliver me
A test of fidelity deliver me
Deliver me
Deliver me
What if I should find
You're no good for me
What if I cant be strong enough
What if I cant break free
Of my devotion
Of my devotion

Wari is a holy pilgrimage in Hindus where thousands of people walk together and complete a 300km journey in 20 days. People sing, dance and celebrate this pilgrimage for 20 days. One innovative kind of devotion where people make a human pyramid and one of them climbs up and plays the instrument.

I greatly admired her mindfulness in her meditation even me with my ostentatious equipment photographing her did not seem to distract her. Peace and acceptance appeared to flow from her.
I felt great respect for her and her sisters.
