The devotion of a parent to a child is truly amazing. I had an awesome chance to observe this devotion many times over during the holiday season. And reflecting on this, I don't think I'll ever come close to giving back everything my parents have sacrificed for me - but I can certainly try!
And - my first photo with my Nikon D80. :)

We went to a Hare Krishna temple today. It is set in lovely countryside and is really great. The kids love it. Am a devout atheist (yes I know it is an oxymoron) but I can see how others can be faithful.
Welcome to a night in the office from hell.
It’s 1983 and in an abandoned workplace in the Midlands, two solitary clerical workers sit down at their desks to begin a routine night shift. But as the evening creeps into the night, a confidential file is accidentally opened and a quietly horrifying secret is unleashed. A secret that’ll soon turn their lives of rotas, packed lunches and fag breaks violently upside down and the workers, against each other.

I wanted to capture the devotion of these people. Even though it was autumn and the weather was no longer hot, every man washed hid feet before entering into the Sultanahmet mosque.
Pity is determined to take good care of his new pet grizzly, Gloomy, in hopes of Gloomy growing up to love him too.

Photography, Acrylic, Brazilian Coffee Bag
I have incorporated my physical work into my photography in this piece. I worked on a self initiated theme of Religion while I was back in my home town Rome, Italy for the Christmas break. The bag placed upon the head of the individual is a Brazilian Coffee bag which I recycled from a nearby Coffee shop which was throwing them away. I found that the dots and the material together created a very effective outcome. The building used as a backdrop for the photographs is an abandoned building which has recently been painted over by the Italian street artist BLU. The building is being used as home for illegal immigrants which have found refuge in the quartiere Ostiense of Rome.
