Definitely Dreaming 'blurred' theme. (21/52)
I finally put my Lensbaby on the camera and went for a short walk without the dogs - essential when I have to use manual focus.
Definitely Best: View On Black
One more pic of this little egret in the tallow tree. This is a very colorful little bird as it is in full breeding plumagewaith dark rusty orange head and back feathers. It appears that a flash was used but none was needed as the strong morning light and a little negative eposure cause the bird to appear on black. Bubulcus ibis.
A lovely makeover of this electricity supply box in Brunswick by Sugar.
Also making this one my post for the Definitely Dreaming Week 45 theme of "Connected".
For the Definitely Dreaming week 8 theme of "I'm Grateful for ...".
Whilst the obvious answers here are things like family and friends, for me they usually prove very difficult to get a photograph of, so I've chosen the music of Pink Floyd.
I listen to music a lot, and Pink Floyd (or solo music from one of the Pink Floyd members) a lot (my family will attest to this).
Their music is unique I think and it has gotten me through many a rough time. It is definitely a big part of my life.
The collage was created by taking photos of many (nowhere near all) of the CD's in my Pink Floyd collection.

Week 1 - Definitely Dreaming theme-- Man made
Pot by Brian Delorme
Hand-stitched cowhide rug by Argentinian artisans
Acoma Pueblo is located in the northern New Mexico desert, on top of a 357-foot tall mesa. It was likely founded around 1100 A.D., and is one of the oldest continuously occupied communities in what is now the U.S. It was originally very isolated, and could only be reached by climbing up the mesa wall by a series of hand and toeholds. Nonetheless, the Spanish explorers visited and eventually came into conflict with the residents. And a Catholic mission was established in the early 1600’s, which still stands.
A road now leads to the village, which is only sparsely settled with permanent residents, but remains the site of many traditional festivals, dances & sacred ceremonies. It’s also a popular tourist destination, which is how I came by this seed pot, years ago. The village has always been known for its prolific potters.
These little birds are often mistaken for sparrows but as no sparrows of any sort have been seen in Central London Parks for over 10 years I know its a dunnock! Almost the exact same colours as the gravel.
This image is definitely not old of course...I shot it about few weeks ago...I just had great fun with processing on this image and made it look like really in bad shape...
Definitely not the only one with this concern in mind ! HMM !
I could also said : "How keeping self-control against adversity..." ;-)
Definitely a Grand Jeté ballet move! But he has lost his ballerina's tutu in the waves.

Definitely Dreaming - Week 21 Numbers
Fairly easy to find numbers on the beach, as fishing boats have to be registered :)
Definitely a pleasant surprise. This I case is similar to Darth Revan. A completely unexpected fig, that'll be appreciated by the community. Definitely a surprise that seems too good to be true(Which is how most of us felt about Revan). Leave your thoughts below! UPDATE: Apparently this was given away at Lego KidsFest in VA this past weekend. It was originally intended on being released, but was cancelled, is it's set number is before Martian Manhunter and Flashback Shredder.
The last image of Manitou Incline. Definitely a hike that I will LOVE to do again.
Manitou Incline consists of approximately 2744 steps with a 41% incline (68% at its highest) and a 2,000+ foot climb in elevation.
It was one heck of a climb, I'll tell ya :)

Definitely Dreaming - Week 22 Too Big
Well it's a BIG wheel, and it does dominate the view, but whether it is too big, umm, arrr, ooo ....
I had thought of photographing a very large person on the beach, but, I only spotted 2 over weight ladies who certainly weren't as big as some you see :)
I can definitely say it was worth getting up at 4:30am, grabbing a coffee and getting out with the camera. Especially considering it's not my day off to come back and sleep a bit more.
Definitely needs to be viewed large. www.flickr.com/photos/48230692@N05/7159655053/in/photostr...
**PLEASE NO FLASHY OR GLITTERY COMMENTS AND LOGOS.**
Thanks for looking. Cheers everyone!
Definitely Dreaming - Week 44 Fun
OK, so this is a real stretch :)
I'm still trying to stick with my beach theme, but, it's blowing a gale here and only getting worse, so not many people having fun.
But, this volleyball net was having fun, blowing in the wind :))) and it gives much fun on a sunny day.
For the week 42 Definitely Dreaming theme of "Overlooked".
The park where I walk most lockdown days is packed on weekends. This weekend some family seemed to have overlooked this item before leaving. Some kind person has hung it from a branch on one of the main paths.
They'd better come retrieve it or it will likely be turned into nesting material by one of the many nest building local birds.
Definitely not my normal fare, but a friend visiting from Scotland gave me a new appreciation for trains. We just managed to outrun this one to catch it on the bridge, where it passed under highway 44. Feeling and watching it thundering underfoot was a pretty amazing experience.
I understand that modern buildings are essential, and Montreal must have a central station, but surely the red sign could be on a different side of the building! To Gordons point yesterday about different PoV, the view of the dome is overshadowed by the station building from 3 of 4 sides.
Definitely my best photographs of a Marsh Harrier so far a female that flew past the hide at Leighton Moss where I was sitting.
so this photo definitely has a story behind it. my friend and i were antique shopping and she found this really adorable pillow so we carried it throughout the whole store, and just kept shopping. i held on to it because i didn't know if i should buy it or not so as we were leaving, and as i was going to put it down, i looked on the back just to see if there was anything else on the back and i looked, and i saw something written upside down, so i turned the pillow around it said "victoria" in cursive. i was in shock!! victoria is my name, so i instantly knew i was going to buy it. it was meant to be :]
