Ever since we finished the deck, I've been saying, "I'm going to make gate so the dogs can hang out on the deck." Several months later, I finally found the time to get it done.
As you can see, it's successfully keeping Sophie on the deck.
This railing is a unique mix of Deckorators square balusters in Bronze, Phoenix rails, and a matching Fiberon cap rail.
The previous owners of this home had begun to adorn their yard with a pond. The exterior had a lot of potential, but lacked continuity with the existing house, porch and pond. We needed to create a design that would blend all of these elements together in a functional and attractive way. We constructed the deck using an element resistant composite material and accented it with white vinyl railings. By removing the half-wall on the existing porch, the homeowners could now view the beautifully landscaped pond from the deck, as well as the inside of their cozy haven. Our finished product was functional, low maintenance and esthetically pleasing to the eye.
Not sure what the bunting is for, but hey, it works.

Okay, so maybe the inset water features and tropical plants might be unrealistic for me, but i'm dreaming of wide-planked, sleek surfaces, boxy layouts, and plenty of gardening nooks and crannies.

Funchal is a cruise ship of high classical style by its graceful silhouette. It was launched on February 10, 1961, the largest ship ever built by the shipyard Helsingor Skibsvaerft A / S, Denmark, commissioned by EIN - Insulana Navigation Company. It is the few vessels which since its launch until now, it retains the same name.
Was operated by the EIN as a ship of the line between the mainland and islands, providing a high quality service.
