I bet if you are in the city you really either love having a balcony or roof deck or really wish you had one. Magnificent Monday to you.

It is interesting how businesses promote the holidays regardless of what they are selling. This stairway is in a car dealership where I take my vehicle for its scheduled maintenance. HSfS

The sunrise, of course, doesn't care if we watch it or not. It will keep on being beautiful even if no one bothers to look at it.

It may be relatively short (100m) but Brisbane's Sky Deck offers fabulous views of the city and its river. As well as its very contemporary design it also has a see-through glass viewing platform for the more adventurous, and best of all - it's free!

So I may be the laziest birder... after Christmas I put my tree on my deck, hide some birdseed inside, set up my camera and tripod inside and wait for the birds to come into view. I stay warm and dry, and give kudos to all those bird photographers getting up early and venturing into nature. (the huge Bluejays scare off all the little ones!)

One of 4 nicely decorated houses in Tinley Park, IL this holiday season.

Is it too early to start decorating for Christmas?

Decided to plop a wreath on Baron and snap a picture. He's settling quite well into his lovely new stall--which, yes, is already decked out with Christmas lights and decorations!

Tiffany loves to "help" decorate for the holidays. Doesn't she look festive?

I shoot my city and everything in it. No style, just pics. (ORo)

It's cool too, you can see through the glass deck to the river below. Something about the migration of the salmon.
