Is it too early to start decorating for Christmas?

Decided to plop a wreath on Baron and snap a picture. He's settling quite well into his lovely new stall--which, yes, is already decked out with Christmas lights and decorations!

We see fox squirrels rummaging through the planter pots on our deck in late fall and winter. We think they have actually made deposits of snacks earlier in the year that they are now trying to retrieve!

Taking in the sea air on the top deck of the Stena Europe superferry. I travelled from Ireland to the UK last week to visit friends & family, my first time back in 10 years. Home now but I'm feeling a little jaded so you'll have to bear with me while I try to catch up on comments in the coming days.

The life jackets are stored in these benches & the lifeboats are hanging over the side. There is actually a walking route around the deck, 4 laps = 1km. Great idea to pass the time HBM!

In playing around with my new 50mm lens, I find myself looking for ANY foto opportunity just to experiment with the lens.

F35s at the stern of the flight deck as HMS Queen Elizabeth comes into her home port of Portsmouth. Carrying a mix of US and British F35s.

Apparently the US F35s are the US Marine Corps "Wake Island Avengers" and according to Wikipedia "On September 4, 2020 the squadron deployed to RAF Marham in the United Kingdom, with 10 F-35Bs.[10] The squadron is scheduled to train alongside 617 Squadron of the Royal Air Force, in preparation for an upcoming deployment where the two squadrons will form the fixed-wing component embarked on HMS Queen Elizabeth when the carrier enters its first operational deployment in 2021."

Not sure whether people call these balconies, decks or decks or something else, but this is an upstairs verandah on our house reflecting the morning sun off the thoroughly modern and 21st century fittings

The “void deck” is a uniquely Singaporean term, referring to the ground floor of Housing Development Board (HDB) blocks that has been left open as sheltered space, where residents can gather to meet friends or where our children can run around, whether rain or shine.

Today, void decks continue to serve as popular hangout areas for senior citizens, as common spaces for Singaporeans and new citizens to “hang out”, and as venues for community activities organised by Residents’ Committees.

We have new deck lights strung up for the summer festivities. What better way to create some wonderful shallowness!

Merry Christmas!

DL 2423...all decked out with Christmas ornaments. The festive former PRR C425 was found idling in front of the Steamtown roundhouse along with Delaware Lackawanna's former DL&W Caboose.

I missed the Heart reef, which lies on the right of this picture... light conditions were not optimum unfortunately.

Seasons Greetings Everyone

Held the camera on the deck of the Manhattan Beach Pier in the early dawn following the rains in November. These are living Christmas Trees which are sold on December 1rst to benefit the Stop the Stigma charity group that educates on substance abuse.

i jokingly call this the winter deck, because it's the only part of my house that gets ANY sun in wintertime, the sun has moved so far south (and we're oriented N-NW mostly) -- but it's a lovely spot to watch the sunset...

A bit of fun tonight with two deck chairs I salvaged from my neighbours shed before they headed to the dump :o)

my companions here at the house, along with the cats...

Freshly mowed grass as seen from the deck. (Beer not pictured.)

One of mikeys old boards... Worn out from all his skating and a bit of an old skool deck too... One of my favourites of the many he owns.

Lit with an SB-700 camera right at 70mm 1/50th power

every night the chairs on the top deck of the carnival spirit were laid flat and lined up...i liked the pattern it created.
