It looks like a forced perspective, but this is actually giant deckcahirs as part of the Currumbin Swell Sculpture Festival.
From some few years ago. All I'm wearing came from her, my mentor. We met when she was in the anxiety and fear of her transition. We became close and did so very much together. She accepted -- reluctantly at first -- my own need to release my inner woman. Soon enough she offered to help, giving me clothes, ideas, love. One day for fun she asked me to dress fully as her. I was so happy!

It was rather windy and gloomy for June, but it set the tone for this image quite nicely.

It took about 3 months in the Fall of 2010, but we finished the deck and enjoy it every day. Got some plants, some new furniture, but also enjoying some furniture that dates back in the family. Our veggie garden is proving to be fruitful as well in our custom garden bed that Temp built off the deck.

Three Wise Truckers decked out their trucks and travelled to a residential care facility in Courtenay where a Star was shining brightly over the Comox Valley. Like angels singing, their speakers rang out bright carols of joy, bringing a measure of peace and goodwill to the staff and residents. Kudos to these truckers. Like the shepherds of Judea, they may not be held in high esteem by society, despite their crucial roles in keeping life going. But these guys have big hearts, and recognize that those who are often forgotten are where miracles still occur when Love is present.

This is a Moisture Shield composite deck where we installed the decking by grooving the deck boards on site & using a hidden fastener system.
A lot of work, but a neat finished look!
