From old beat up pallets, we took them apart and threw away the broken boards. With remaining boards we rebuilt the pallets one by one. We sanded each one and stained and waterproofed them from left over stain from another project.

Replaced existing deck with new composite decking. Replaced railing with vinyl railing.

We christmasfied the office :) This is my desk, and its a tip!

I know you're not meant to have tinsel on your monitors - fire hazard and all.. but you should see the rest of the office. Health and Safety would have a field day in here!

Deck N starts with Upper Main Engineering, a cramped room around the vertical intermix shaft. Behind the circuit bay is a pocket for the vertical emergency door on the deck below. Behind that is a long, low chamber filled with subsystems: batteries, hydrogen tanks, a shield generator, and the main forward and aft thrusters, as well as structural elements.

Taken at Lulu's Restaurant on the Gulf Coast Intercoastal Waterway near Gulf Shores, Alabama. As well as being a nice restaurant, Lulu's has a big sand pit with a couple of big sand piles for kids and a beach volley ball court, and other attractions and games for kids.

Starting in October 2012, the second ARM Mobile Facility (AMF2) was deployed on the Horizon Lines cargo ship Spirit for the year-long Marine ARM GPCI1 Investigation of Clouds (MAGIC) campaign, traveling between Los Angeles, California, and Honolulu, Hawaii. The purpose of the deployment was to understand and parameterize clouds, precipitation, aerosols and radiation, and the interactions among them.

Note the curved roof of the studio. Several portions of roof on this collections of buildings have some kind of compound curve. In this photo the arbutus tree is in flower - I think in the US this tree is called a madrona.

Tribunal

August 21, 2004.

Here it is, the big daddy. Currently holding the record for the longest SHIP at 12 feet 6 inches, or 487 studs, the Tribunal was a substantial investment in time and labor for me. I decided that, for it I would upload an entire set of the beautiful pictures taken by Geoff Gray, in glorious high resolution. There are descriptions of what all the rooms and areas are on the web site, although the pictures are pretty substantial too.

This set is enormous, so enjoy the browsing!

View from other side. This picture also shows the fence screem made fron trellis and reed covering the neighbours old garage. This had to be planned and fixed in place before the deckboards were to go down.
