Frangipani leaves laying where I placed some cuttings for transplanting later, they all fell off en masse

So I recently finished my Percy Jackson book, "The Mark of Athena", and this picture pretty much describes how my inner geek feels at the moment.

Plus Viria's amazing fanart on DA isn't helping with my crisis.

Unfortunately, the giddy change will be another vacant brownfield

Abandoned vehicle above North Landing on the Flamborough Head coast of Yorkshire.

Bought tomatoes last week and one was bruised. With the super warm temps recently decay set in. I was not sure I was going to photograph this week but the perfect subject showed up.

Baron's Hill, Anglesey. Huge mansion left to decay in the woodlands by Beaumaris. Once a fabulous and opulent home, brought to its current state by crippling death duties and the family's inability to keep it going.

Bit tricky to find, but so worth the bramble scratches, the nettle stings and the barbed wire etchings on my skin!

It was taken over by the military in WW2 hence, I assume, the guard room.

Thanks for your visit

Have a nice day

abandoned Palazzo d'Oro

This pile of decaying leaves is next to where I park my car. I don't usually pay them any attention, but when the flower heads started to fall the contrasting colours caught my eye.

I think it’s fair to say that the building (and the roof we were gingerly walking on) was in a bad state of decay. Whole trees were growing up through the concrete which itself was crumbling away.

I would have thought that the area alone would be worth a fortune, right by Times Square. No one wants to buy it, demolish it and put some huge tower in its place?

I know, I know. Hong Kong, again! I’m not wealthy- I just keep spending all my money on going there. I don’t think they say ‘Fourth Times the Charm’ but this trip was just that - a success. For almost the entire time I kept my mental health issues at bay. It was a good trip. After three disasters - It is really nice to say that.
