I was surprised to see that Mini Lalaloopsy Dolls are available here in Tampere too, at least one store has them. So, accident happened and I somehow bought Dot Starlight. I called to Sandy and she wanted Pillow Featherbed so I got that too and took it to her. My Domo whom I got from Hitty Evie wanted to meet Domo who lives with Sandy... What a happy meeting!!!!!!

A row of tenement buildings in Po Tuck Street, probably dating from about 1920. These building were characterized by the decorative plaster mouldings on the exteriors of the balconies, which were common in Hong Kong between the two World Wars. Like some other photographs, it shows that even when buildings were intended for occupation by ordinary working people it was thought worthwhile to pay attention to their aesthetic appeal.

Cwm Coke Works 2 January 2017. These works date from 1958 and were designed to produce metallurgical grade coke from the low sulphur coals in the area, principally from the adjacent mine, but also from other pits, including Coedely. After closure of the mine in November 1986, coal was brought in mainly by road up to closure in June 2002. Despite the intervening years almost all is intact, although almost nothing remains of the colliery.

"My Date With Barbie" has turned up in an unexpected but welcome place, the front window of Electronic Arts at 1428 Race St. It's just the right touch of creative weirdness needed for an OTR store window, and it's great to look at its pinkness as other buildings reflect on the glass and add their own richness to the view.
"My Date with Barbie Is Tomorrow Night” is a pink caryatid with a large Ken doll body as the foundation for a swirling universe of chitchat and clatter. West makes static cartoonery into a sort of Tower of Babel parable here. There are little weird vignettes all up and down the mannequin body, as if there’s a confusing war going on that no one knows about and yet everyone is participating in. “My Date” is also his largest construction, so it becomes a sort of center of gravity to the show, like a pink prime minster overcome by centuries of candy-colored calamities and crises. Cotton-candy becomes marble somehow in this piece, as if Candyland has gone completely official.

The Color Obstacle Rush is a unique event combining the fun of color powdered runs and the thrill and excitement of an obstacle course. This year the event is being hosted at Willen Lake, Milton Keynes!
After a fun pre workout to make sure everyone is warmed up, you will start the Rush by pushing through foam and getting doused with color powder while climbing up and down nets, making your way down giant slides, leaping through bouncy castles, crawling under inflatable beams, digging through a giant ball pit, and of course, the huge party at the finish line as your reward for completing the Rush!

Had a date night with my husband. I think the last movie we saw in the "real" (ie, not dollar) theater was Toy Story 3. And my parents paid. But tonight we went and saw a flick. I've been wanting to get back to do the motel sign from February at night, but that was at a totally different end of town. So I satisfied my sign need with this :)

Fort Chadbourne was a fort established by the United States Army on October 28, 1852, in what is now Coke County, Texas, to protect the western frontier and the Butterfield Overland Mail route. It was named after Lt. T.L. Chadbourne, who was killed in the Battle of Resaca de la Palma. It was defended by Companies A and K of the 8th U.S. Infantry. During the early days of the American Civil War, the fort surrendered to the Confederates on February 28, 1861, even before the Confederate shelling of Fort Sumter, South Carolina, but was reoccupied by federal troops from 1865 to 1867. Fort Chadbourne began restoration in 2001 with the Enlisted Men’s Barracks (east). An original grant from the Dodge Jones Foundation made this possible. A decision was made to stabilize and reconstruct the original walls using an old method of braces and turnbuckles. By holding the walls in place, where they could no longer fall, the walls could be repositioned and straightened preserving what the 1850 soldiers and stone masons had built. The idea worked, and Richards was awarded the 2003 Preservation Texas Award.
The west barracks was stabilized, but left in a ruin state for comparison. (2)
