Last Wednesday I was able to catch both the empties and loads on NHN with little effort. I got word that Dover was packed full of interchange and knew a full green set had gone south the day before. With gas, steel, and oil I knew there would be a chance they may be pretty late getting into the pit. I got the timely heads up as I was taking my lunch that they had just departed Tri-City, so I headed downtown to see what was available. Although not the most ideal conditions, it was better than the cloud mess forecasted, and I got a quick visit in with the friendly folks waterside in Lebanon, Maine. They had an impressive 53 cars going north.
randomly threw on some skates and the dorks we were, went skating for a bit listening to bonnie tyler and random 90's music. I enjoyed it, and loved the company of adding extra peeps to the adventure! Serein, you are awesome, and i love doing stupid stuff with you! Thank you for the good time at the bonfire as well! Turning spiked pumpkin juice into a giant egg and running into the woods nonchalantly was epic! lmao!
A monotone still life photo of the top of a portion of my wife’s dresser. Although I don’t perceive how things will look in black and white very well, this scene did seem to jump out at me.

A tall, narrow view across central Alicante: a canopy of date palms in the foreground, then a pink-marble-banded apartment block and its beige neighbour stacked in balconies, shutters and roller blinds. Telecoms masts and TV aerials crown the rooftop against a streaky blue sky. Everyday urban geometry, with the palms doing the greenery and the facades doing the filing.
Many thanks to all who take the time to comment or favourite. I read every comment, value the favourites as much and return them as frequently as time allows.

It's mating season for short horned, green grasshoppers. And this bunch of allium seed heads looked like the dance floor at the prom - there were half a dozen grasshoppers dressed in their finest and looking for love.
