The small town of Marion, Kansas has at least a dozen similar beautiful and detailed hand-carved limestone buildings on Main Street. The dated stone at the top of this structure has broken off but was likely between 1880 and 1900.
This would have been my 365 shot for last weekend until I did the last minute jump shot. I still really like this one though.

Subject: JSC2012-E-132264 (8 Aug. 2012) --- Personnel from NASA's Johnson Space Center and Kennedy Space Center practice recovering Orion's parachutes at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory in Houston. The teams were determining the best methods for retrieving the chutes from the water after Orion's splashdown. Each main chute weighs close to 300 pounds, and the water doubles that weight.
