Date nails during the early half of the 20th century were widespread on various roads. Most often, date nails indicated when the tie was treated at the factory before being laid by track gangs. The Santa Fe were yuge buyers of date nails, with the newest being stamped in 1969.
Here, a date nail dated for 1927 is embedded into a railroad tie at Colmor, NM. The Raton and Glorieta Subs are some of the last mainlines that feature date nails of this age.

I was looking for Ghouls night out Monster High, but they have them not in shelves now. (i must check it on monday cause they have them in there ad)
So i got the Dating Fun Ken i want so bad since ever.
I gave him an Fashionistas Ken Body. The original Bod yis to stiff and not well playable.
Dating from the 19th century these markers were located all around the City of London at a roughly 20 mile radius to mark the area in which tax was charged on all coal entering the area.
There were originally about 280 and around three quarters have survived.
This is a cast iron version by the River Thames near Weybridge.

My son's first "date" to see "The Nutcracker." It was the sweetest, most romantic date I've been on. They secretly bought each other gifts from the front lobby. When my son gave the gift to his girl, she was so excited & her little clear slipper shoes were swinging so fast (since her feet wouldn't touch the ground). Sooooooooooooooooo sweet!

PERSONAL FUN FACT: I have no idea why Mattel didn't even attempt to name some of the basic/budget waves of Monster High dolls. I mean obviously there was some sort of potential name thought up, since many websites would have titles for them. This design is so clearly inspired by a comic book. Why didn't they call it "Comic Creepies" or something like that? Despite the lackluster generic packaging, this Cleo is every bit as fabulous as her more expensive counterparts. While I wasn't obsessed with the "Comic" collection the same way I was with the "Dessert Ghouls," I always hoped to find them. I don't know what it is...maybe the fact that they remind me a bit of the Action Heroez Bratz? That's got to be what drew me to them. They'd all be perfect fighting crime together...crimes of fashion. "Pow! We are here to save the day! We have brought real branded doll clothes for you to wear. " Yep, that's how I imagine dolls like Cleo fighting crime. Or maybe it would be something like, "Bam! I'm Cleo and I'm here to save the day. I have spare limbs for you, poor arm-less creature!" That would be even more heroic to a doll in need. I never fully appreciated just how awesome the facial screenings on the "Comic" dolls were, until I was given a few of them in 2023. Someone very generously sent me and my sister 166 dollies in the "Mountains of Monsters Lot." After I bathed everyone, I remember how tricky it was sorting out who was who. Many of the reboot Monster High dolls look kind of similar. But the "Comic" ladies were easy to tell apart, because they have funky makeup.
