The cucumber finally started to climb the trellis...

I planted our Sikkim Cucumber around a dead Cherry tree.

We have a cucumber plant in the greenhouse this year. We are away for a through weeks and have asked Paul to remember to water it. I will be interested to see what it is like when we come back.

A spotted cucumber beetle, that looks a lot like a yellow ladybug, on purple flowers.

Low water flow at Cucumber Falls and bright conditions led to many disappointing shots. It was still nice to get out and take in a little nature. I did get to experiment with the x1.4 and x2 teleconverter on the camera. This was at x1.4 I believe.

My cucumbers seem to be taking a long time to get going, compared to the people already selling them at the grower's market. They sure are pretty, though.
